The Forest Glade House

Come enjoy one of Rolling River Holidays' custom-built homes!

It is the perfect spot to relax and unwind while surrounded by nature. If you are an adventurous explorer or prefer to stay cozy and comfortable at home, this house will fit your needs either way. There are three ensuite bedrooms, each with a king bed, deck access (two of the bedrooms have private decks!), and window seats to sit and enjoy to views. Downstairs in the basement there is an additional bedroom with two twin beds and another full bathroom.

Speaking of the basement, it might be one of the most fun spots in the house. It is home to a bar, a ping pong table, media center, and game table, a comfy window seat, and huge sliders that lead directly into the back yard.

The kitchen comes fully equipped and has gorgeous soapstone counter tops. You can expect to find a kitchen aid, blender, a full set of pots and pans, multiple options for how you want to make your morning brew, plenty of utensils for cooking and more!

Moving outdoors, you will find a spacious deck outside the living room with a gas fire pit that can also be accessed through one of the main floor bedrooms. The other main floor bedroom has a private deck with it's own gas fireplace. Additionally the upstairs master bedroom has it's own private deck too.

The house is located on a private road off of a private road so it is very quiet and there is plenty of space for walking. There is also private access to the Shenandoah river right down the road from the house for those who enjoy the water.

Family Wedding in Winchester

What a beautiful spot for a home base while we celebrated our son’s wedding in Winchester. Plenty of space for 8 adults. We were really able to appreciate the property after the festivities slowed down. We kayaked in the river and saw several egrets and kingfisher.

A great place to stay

My family members stayed at this property to when we attended a Wedding at Christendom College. The house was spotlessly clean, had all of the kitchen gadgets we needed, and the firepit on the back porch all added up to a wonderful experience. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone who wants a great place to stay while in the Front Royal area.

Perfect Family Christmas

We stayed at forest glade for a week at Christmas. It was my baby’s first Christmas and we wanted to get the family together. It was wonderful. Each guest got a gorgeous bed and bath, the house was decorated for Christmas, Grace and Frank provided a (family!) babysitter so we could go out for wine tasting for 3 hours one day. The home was beautifully secluded but close enough to get doordash delivered when lazy!! I can’t say enough good things. Thank you!

Awesome stay!

Perfect Getaway!

We loved our stay at the Forest Glade. The bedrooms were gorgeous and the common rooms were comfortable and spacious. The view from the deck is beautiful and the entire property is a peaceful oasis - perfect for a getaway weekend!

Beautiful country escape

Absolutely beautiful home with everything you could possibly need, especially with multiple families. We found the beds to be extremely comfortable. The house was very clean and well-equipped. It was a bit further outside of town than we expected (10 min from lots of chains; 20 min from old Front Royal), but we really enjoyed the peace. Keep an eye on small dogs as we frequently heard coyotes in the area, and had a bear get into our trash.

Obsessed!

The Glade was more than what we anticipated for our family gathering. The house was conveniently located to the stores but away from any traffic where we enjoyed the peace of nature. Walking distance to the river and just a spectacular view. House was amazing, clean and just beautiful overall. Will definitely be coming back!

Pure Gold

This place is incredible. Hands down, nicest VRBO rental I’ve ever stayed in. House is new, clean, modern and very private. The layout with three master suites perfectly hosts three separate couples, with a basement big enough for multiple children. The fact that it is dog friendly is above and beyond! The only thing that could have been improved was the internet situation, which was basically nonexistent. While that was fine with the adults (appreciated a mandatory phone break!), the teenagers groaned quite a bit but now they know how to use a DVD player :) The location is so private yet only 10 minutes away from stores and restaurants and only 15 from a local brewery. I don’t care how much this place is during in-season dates; it is worth it and we will 100% be back!

Spacious Getaway

We held our Friendsgiving at this property and it was perfect. You rarely stay anywhere that the pictures don't do the place justice - the bedrooms and baths are huge! Great set up for multifamily getaways or having space! We had a local chef come cook for us Saturday night that was a great addition (Red Light Culinary Studio - highly recommend!).
