Skip the long lines at the boat launch and stay right on the world-famous Wolf River! Located on Templeton Bayou, minutes from the White Bass Capitol of the World. Enjoy world-class fishing right off the dock or sit on the deck and watch the boats float by.

Newly renovated house, is ready for walleye and white bass season. Book now before it's full for fishing season. No need to head to the beach with excellent swimming right off the dock! Swimming is best from May through July before the water warms up in August and September. Boating and fishing are great all summer long!

Spotless clean, cozy, comfortable river house, quiet nice location

We really enjoyed our stay in this clean, cozy, comfortable property. Located on a quiet street, and surrounded by nice, well-kept properties, this made a lovely stay for Oshkosh weekend. The home felt like staying at a family cottage. There was so much attention to detail with toiletries, pop, water, snacks, and coffee. Check in and check out were a breeze. The host was very easy to communicate with regarding the property.

Nice clean house with many amenities

Fishing trip on wolf river. Dock for boat, fish cleaning table. Nice place. Down side is a little bit of drive by boat in no wake area dow to fremont

Great property. Very Clean and nice but water is not suitable for swimming

The house was perfect. Everything you would need is provided for. Spotlessly clean. Great and friendly host. How ever, while was listed partly correctly as being on the wolf River, it was not mentioned that the location is on a swampy Bayou portion of the wolf River. You can't swim in it. I had rented this particularly for swimming in the wolf River and was disappointed.

Clean with all the extras you could need

Area was safe and nice. Neighbors were very nice. I was pleasantly surprised there were so many restaurants so close to the house. (Just a few minutes drive) Only problem we had was there were wet sheets in washer AND dryer. I folded them and put away. Just slightly annoying. But the property was exactly as described.

Tremendous place, great value

I have stayed at VRBOs twice a year for the past 6 years, all over the country, and I can't wait to come back here. Host great to deal with , beatiful clean place, and the double bunk beds with queens on the bottom worked great for our group.

Nice clean place. Not very big. I would imagine it will be great for fishing, however we dont fish. We were there for the EAA aviation week. It was convenient and efficient. Will stay again next year if it is available

Everything we wanted and more!

Great property with hosts that recognize the importance of an added touch. From the s’mores basket to device chargers to the basket of bathroom essentials, they have the guest in mind. Clean, nice layout, multiple tvs, kayaks, and in a great little town, it allowed us a great little break!

All you need

The house had everything we needed, every detailed thought through, from waffle mix, popcorn and smores ingredients in the kitchen to chargers in every bedroom. Very clean. We enjoyed the 2 available kayaks. Quite, nice neighborhood. I would stay here again!

Great hosts and great place to stay. If you are spending time on the Wolf River this is the place to stay! This was our second year staying here and are alreadly planning next years trip!

Peaceful place on the Bayou

It was perfect location. Peaceful place to relax before starting busy season at work. The host goes above and beyond in the amenities at the house for guests to use, including a waffle station. Thanks for sharing your home with us.

Peaceful Wolf River Getaway

We had a wonderful time at The Pickled Northern. Just what we were looking for. Plenty of space for all 6 adults to be comfortable. If we had little kids, the room with the 2 double bunk beds would be perfect, but it was also perfect for my adult sons because the lower beds are full size or queen! I cannot say enough about how clean the house was. The owners are wonderful and do a great job with this property!
