The Mark at Surfside, Apt. 5

This is a fully remodeled spacious studio unit. Located upstairs, this open room features a comfortable queen bed and a futon for additional seating or sleeping space. The full bathroom includes a bathtub and comes stocked with bath towels, toilet paper, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and hand soap for your convenience.

For your dining needs, there is a small kitchenette equipped with a coffee pot and filters (please bring your own favorite coffee grounds), toaster, microwave, mini refrigerator, and dishes.

Stay connected with the Roku smart TV and Wi-Fi included in your stay. Outside, you'll find chairs and a small table for your personal use, and a shared outdoor area with picnic tables and charcoal grills for some outdoor fun. Just remember to bring your own charcoal and grilling utensils if you plan to use the grills.

Our location is convenient with restaurants, a convenience store, and a liquor store nearby. Plus, the beach is just a short walk away, less than a block from the property! Leave your vehicle in one of our two shared parking lots and spend your day at the beach or purchase a Surfside Beach permit from local stores to drive your vehicle onto the beach.

*The Village of Surfside has always had issues with its water. It has a bit of an off color, odor and flavor. We have installed a filtration system to help with this and the water is safe for use, but it doesn't fully remove these issues. Please look to bring bottled water if this will be an issue so that you have access to it.*

Had a great stay at The Mark. Nice surprise with the dog run. Fur babies enjoyed that. The apartment was nicely decorated and clean. Short walk to the beach or if you get a permit, can drive on the beach. Surfside beach is always great. I only live an hour away so I get to visit often, but it was nice to be able to spend a few days just relaxing and soaking up the sun whenever I felt like it. You won't be disappointed with any of the apartments.

Quaint and comfortable

This little space has been updated so it’s very nice, it’s small so if it’s just a couple or a single person then it’s perfect; however, I feel that 3 people would be too crowded. The host communicated well, check-in was smooth and simple and the entire unit was clean!

Perfect Weekend Getaway Find

The Mark is exactly as advertised and just what we were looking for for our beach weekend getaway. Very comfortable, clean, close to the beach, and easy to access. The hosts are so hospitable and extremely communicative. We very much enjoyed our stay here and will be back!

An awesome beach vacation

I can't say enough good things about this property. As soon as we walked in the door, we said "Wow! This is awesome." Honestly nicer than most of the hotels that we have stayed at. Clean, fresh, new, well kept, it has it all. There was plenty of parking and close to so many things to do. Being able to walk down to the end of the street and hit the beach made it so easy. You will not be disappointed booking here. Marcus was super communicative to make sure we had a great trip as well. A+ experience and I look forward to booking here again the next time we vacation in Galveston.

Great little studio space close to the beach.

Great little unit within walking distance of the beach. Very clean and well appointed. We would definitely stay again. Our only complaint was no coffee cups in the kitchen. Location is good, but is on the corner of busy highway. Our room was on the highway end and was a little noisy at times.
