Cozy rustic cabin in the woods-hammock and firepit

If you are looking for a quiet rustic woodland getaway, this tiny home may be just what you need. This cabin is set back in the woods and is a private place to enjoy nature. An outdoor shelter house with covered seating area and outdoor fire ring sits nearby and is available for use. This small barn/cabin room with small bathroom and kitchenette is comfortable and inviting.

Just a few notes to read before you book!!

Important!

This is a rustic stay in the woods, and it is within 1/4 mile of our farm. Just be prepared, there may be occasional distant noise of roosters crowing, pigs squealing and tractor running. Also keep in mind that there may be a stray whiff or two of livestock smells that drift your direction. All part of a country stay experience! ;) Another note -the loft is over the door when you enter the cabin, so the ceiling height of the kitchenette and bathroom are approx 6'2". If you are taller than this and don't enjoy ducking your head while you cook or shower, this stay may not be for you. The rest of the cabin (except of course, the loft) has high ceilings, 12'. This is a tiny home and has all the quirks and character that many tiny homes do!

A note on the loft-There is a rustic old fashioned ladder leading up to a double mattress in the loft space. This could work for children or teens, it has a very low ceiling clearance also, 4' at the height approximately. A small space. See pics for details.

There is only one sink in the cabin, the kitchen sink which is right in front of the bathroom door so can be used for both purposes.

Guest access

The mowed area around the cabin and shelter are available for guests to use, as well as a short hiking trail through the woods, the start and end of which are well marked. Please do not stray into the woods or trespass onto ours or our nearby neighbors property. You are welcome to use the outside part of the shelter, the picnic tables and firepit etc, but to gain access to the inside (Full large kitchen, two full bathrooms) please message me and book separately.
