Summary:

Get away for a few days and enjoy some time in this remodeled studio, just 2 blocks from the heart of it all and wake up, enjoy a cup of coffee from the Keurig coffee maker and go exploring! Afterward, come back and relax in your own private hot tub! Did we mention the location? This studio is in our beloved historic district just steps to all the festivals and festivities Fredericksburg is known for. Professionally cleaned and sanitized after each reservation! Managed by Heavenly Hosts



The Space:

This historic home has been recently remodeled into 3 studio style suites. to accommodate individuals looking for an affordable place to stay that is within walking distance to all the shops, restaurants and festivals. Please note that there are separate suites on the property that might be occupied during your visit.

The place was okay and well located. The hot tub looked fine but we didn’t use it because it smelled strongly of chlorine. We had trouble finding the property, and when we tried to use the app for assistance it was useless — we couldn’t get any help. The floors squeaked with every step. The house is split into two units, and you can hear every footstep and conversation from the other side. The TV also has very limited channels. Consider yourself warned.

We really enjoyed our stay overall. The unit itself was very nice, clean, and exactly what we were looking for. One of the biggest highlights was the location—it’s an easy walk to downtown, which made getting around incredibly convenient.That said, there were a couple of issues that kept it from being a perfect experience. The hot tub would not hold temperature at 100 degrees and kept dropping, which was disappointing. Additionally, the shower had very low water pressure and output, making it difficult to use comfortably.Aside from those items, everything else about the property was great. With a couple of fixes, this would be an outstanding place to stay.

This VRBO was really nice; however, take note that the room is similar to a duplex. For me a studio is usually "detached". So I could hear the other family on the other side of the wall talking and kids running around too. It wasn't too much of a bother but I would have preferred a detached studio, not a duplex style. Another concern is there is no second bolt/chain on the front door. I would have felt safer if a second lock or chain was installed. Another suggestion would be to add a shelf on the back wall where the hot tub is located outside. Be nice to have a place to hold your drink/phone/glasses. Also add a charging cable near the bed so you can charge phones or connect a lab top while sitting on bed. Overall, the room was very nice but just not a fit for me to return again.

Great place and a perfect location. It was close to everything and an easy walk to shops and a coffee spot in the morning. The host was incredibly kind and even helped me set up a surprise, which made the stay extra special.We did have a small issue with the hot tub around 11:00 PM, but when we called they responded and made it right, which we really appreciated.Overall a great place for a 1–2 day stay in town. Would definitely recommend.

The location of this property was great — very close to Main Street, which made it easy to walk to shops and restaurants. However, the house itself could use a bit of maintenance. The floors creaked considerably, and we noticed alot of spiders inside during our stay, which was a little uncomfortable. Access to the jacuzzi wasn’t very convenient since you have to walk around the outside of the house to get to it but having it was amazing. Overall, it was a great location. We're were booked twice but still trying to work through of its a VRBO issue or host. Host has been communicating well with us to resolve.

Awesome Quick Stay

My partner & I stayed for 2 nights before camp pick-up. It was a Heavenly stay. The apartment was a perfect combination of historic and modern A few minutes walk to shopping and restaurants. We will stay here again.

Nice little cottage

First, let me say this is a house with 3 SEPARATE suites. They each have their own entrance and private hot tub. I say this first because we didn’t get that from the photos and it wasn’t listed at the beginning of the listing details.We enjoyed the room, it is in an old house and so you can’t hear other people walking around. That’s just part of being an old house. We couldn’t hear other people talking now. The charm was really nice and decorations were nice. The location was the best thing about this place because we could walk to the main street and back several times a day and we weren’t exhausted. There is a parking space in the driveway for your vehicles.There was only two coffee pods for coffee and we were there for two nights. The little coffee creamers in the fridge had gone bad so we didn’t drink coffee in the room. The hot tubs were very clean, the chlorine is a bit overwhelming so we had to leave the top off for a little while before we got in. There seems to be a timer on the heating element so it does lose heat after about 30 minutes and it was a windy day for us, but we enjoyed it. There are robes, they are made for smaller people. We happen to be average size so it was OK for us. But if we were large, that would not have worked. There was only one pair of slippers, so I used them and my husband opted for his sandalsOverall, it was a nice stay. There were just a couple of small things that weren’t terribly significant us. We would stay here again.

Cozy place

Very comfortable and welcoming place to stay. A close walk to all the shops on Main Street but away from street noise. A plus with the jacuzzi too. Would stay here again.
