Long leaf pine floors ,with 11+Ft ceilings.Furnished in a relax Hill Country Style with leather seating , cowhide rug ,and other vintage pieces with a timeless feminine touch. Two covered porches with plenty of seating to enjoy a morning coffee or evening wine.
Whole-house backup generator ensures continued comfort in the event of power outage.

Heidi was an incredible host! So responsive and helpful. The property is gorgeous and our son loved the backyard. Kitchen was incredible and we loved how every light was labeled so there was no guesswork. The Christmas decorations were an unexpected and magical bonus. The two living rooms were super luxe. This is not a criticism because Heidi was open about this but heads up that the doorknobs are not super secure so if you have a toddler or kiddo that needs child proofing, you need a backup plan. This was clear in the listing so no knock on the host. Amazing stay!

We really thought the pictures online did not do it justice the home was beautiful. Fully stocked home from kitchen to bathrooms. The beds were very comfortable and so were the living spaces. Beautifully decorated and loved the Christmas decorations.

Happy 100 years to this well appointed and maintained home. We are a family of five with grown children (one married with toddler) gathered for the weekend. For us, the house was a perfect mix of private bedrooms and spacious public spaces. We had almost wished for a rainy day to fully utilize the grand hallway for floor games and toddler chases, however the weather called for sunny wagon rides (we brought) and cool evening fires in the outdoor pit. Big front and back porches for relaxing were also available. Our biggest love was the labeling of every light switch (some on dimmers) so nothing was unknown or confusing. Lovely neighborhood was utilized for toddler walks on the wide streets. Unload your car at the front door (sidewalk makes an easy transition. Park in the big back driveway that can be easily seen from the back of the house. Clean all around. Comfortable. And 11 foot ceilings continue the spaciousness. We highly recommend!

The reviews are real—this place is amazing! It’s beautiful inside and out. The location was perfect, close to town, and we all felt very safe. The home decor is incredible; we were inspired by the creativity throughout. With high ceilings and everything on one level, the space felt open and welcoming.We experienced such great energy in the house, which isn’t always the case with older homes—nothing creepy at all, just a wonderful vibe. It was the perfect weekend getaway for the four of us ladies, with plenty of space to sit, chat and buzz around in the kitchen. I can’t wait to book it again!

Awesome communication with the host. Loved that kitchen drawers were labeled. Also every single light/fan switch was labeled was so super helpful. We all loved the farmhouse look and feel of the house. Super clean and well maintained home.

Great property for me, my mom and one of her friends. Just a short drive or walk from Main Street. Super cute furnishings authentic to the area. Consistent communication with the host. Check in and check out was easy and efficient. Would stay here again in a heart beat. Quiet neighborhood, comfy beds and all the amenities needed.

It’s bigger than it looks!

Great little house! Bigger than it looks. Host has thoughtfully included all of the amenities you’d need and some really interesting story elements about her family. Easy walk to Main Street which we did both nights. We would definitely book again.

We celebrated my sisters birthday. There was plenty of space, house was clean and it was close to main street. Heidi had reached out to me when there was a fire somewhat close to let me know it was moving in the other direction and we were safe. I would book here again.

Perfect in every way

The cottage was absolutely perfect for our needs of a cousin/aunts weekend for girls. We loved that there were so many beds for sleeping arrangements. The quiet neighborhood was close to Main St and yet just far enough away to see deer at night and to enjoy a nice fire in the backyard. What at great host too!
