  • Ideally located only two miles from Main Street, this charming home offers a taste of the country with all the convenience of city living. Sitting pretty on a private lot, there's plenty of space for the whole family, including the dog, to roam around. You're right in the heart of Texas Wine Country, so spend the day at one of many vineyards, then choose one of Fredericksburg's many restaurants for a dinner out. State parks, golf courses, museums, and more all vie for your attention as well.

    But first, coffee. Grab an Adirondack chair in the gazebo and relax each morning with a steaming cup and a good book while you enjoy the natural surroundings. Inside, you'll find a bright, open layout and a cozy cottage feeling. The chef will love the modern farmhouse kitchen, with stainless steel appliances and plentiful counter space. Grab a bite at the round table for six, then head out to explore. Get toasty in front of the woodstove each evening as you stream the latest release, play a board game, or spin some vinyl on the record player. Remote workers will appreciate the dedicated desk area and free WiFi. End each evening as you began the day, back outside. Cook up some Texas-style brisket in the barbecue pit, fire up the gas grill, or just gather around the firepit to roast some marshmallows. Your fantasy Fredericksburg getaway is calling - all that's left to do is book.

Beautiful home and property! We had a lovely time. Enjoyed a fire outside and some stargazing. The home was very well stocked! We had everything we needed.

Great summer getaway

This house had plenty of room for our entire group. We had a good family get together while we were there. The back patio was amazing for a decent size group. The gas grill worked perfect for cooking up some fajitas. Plenty of room inside with a nice large kitchen and very nice appliances. Kitchen was very well stocked.

Great location and beautiful backyard

The home is about 2 miles away from Main Street and the neighborhood is quiet. The location is on the pathway to most of the wineries, too. The back and front yard spaces are large with plenty of seating spaces. Back yard had a fire pit with seating to roast marshmallows and a bbq area with an outside shaded sitting area. It was perfect for us as we celebrated our son’s 27th birthday!

Great house!

Perfect for our families - clean, fully stocked with kitchen gadgets and newer appliances, lots of bath towels, plenty of seating and places to sleep. Large, unfenced lot in the country, but not far from Main Street. Saw deer in the backyard when we drove up! Dark at night so you can see the stars! We loved our stay!

Mother/daughter weekend

This home was absolutely perfect for my daughter, her best friend, her best friend's mother, and me💞 The location is so close to town, yet very secluded!! The home itself was EXTREMELY clean, and the MOST CHARMING decor!!!!! It was our first time to Fredericksburg, but definitely the1st of MANY !!! And will DEFINITELY be booking the Suniland Cottage again for our future visits!!!!

Perfect for a Girlfriend Getaway

Code box access to the home is a PLUS as we didn't have to make sure one of us had the key. The property is located in a quiet, country neighborhood of oversized lots, so it felt safe to take a walk. Nice, large kitchen with everything you need to prepare meals. Spacious living and dining areas. Ceiling fans throughout living, dining and bedrooms was nice. The beds were comfortable and not "old" feeling at all. 2 bathrooms were perfect as there were 4 of us.

Love this place!

The house was so cute and had everything we needed and then some! It was very clean when we arrived, easy and quick customer service definitely going back with my family again! We rented this house for Mother’s Day weekend and we had a blast and made lots of memories that weekend. My mom also left my earring my dad gave me before he passed so I reached out to customer service and they reached out to the house crew and they will be mailing my earrings back. Definitely helpful and loyal staff! That in its self has me sold!! Thank you for everything

The online pictures did not match the current condition of the home. The couch was broke and could not be used, the ceiling was coming apart and making for potential danger esp in bathroom and at the ceiling fans. Bathroom had a small section where the baseboard was missing. There was no spare blankets or sheets for bed in living room so we couldn't use the trundle bed (mattress was dirty) The home was very comfortable and kitchen well stocked but the home was in need of updates especially for the amount we paid.

Birthday Wknd Fun

I love the cleanliness, acceptability of various home necessities, cozy warm feeling home gave out, quietness of the neighborhood. It gave me a chance to enjoy relaxing time outside that I rarely get to have. Reminded me of my childhood. Only thing I didn't like was that there was a neighborhood dog loose that came into the yard while I sat outside. And didn't have all coffee amenities available. Had to go to the store for what I needed. I enjoyed my time overall.

Great spot

The property was super quiet, very clean, and comfortable. It was only a short drive to downtown which was very convenient. The beds and pillows were very firm, making sleep somewhat uncomfortable. There were also no cleaning supplies like brooms or mops. I understand there is a cleaning crew that comes after we leave but if you have little kids chances are they might make a mess you need to clean during your stay. Also property management was a little slow returning text messages. Overall though it was a great stay and my family enjoyed it.
