Cepheus at the Retreat

Enjoy stargazing & crisp acoustics when you stay in this unique bubble. Lay in the hammock, take a dip in the private hot tub and then warm up by the fire. Have a hot shower in privacy then watch a flick on the smart tv in your King bed. Pay attention to shooting stars as you lay comfortably. Wake up with some coffee on the deck and see the sunrise. Not a morning person? Relax with some wine watching the sunset. Cepheus gets both sunrise & sunset! Walk to Michael Ros Winery for wine & food.

Disclaimer: During warmer days, have no expectation of hanging out inside the bubble between 10:30am and 30 minutes before sunset. You can sit outside, get in hot tub, turn on firepit, lay in hammock or go explore Wine Country. Sleeping and mornings are the only times you can remain inside comfortably.

It’s two chambers to keep bubble inflated.

You’re in a literal bubble. If it’s hailing, go to your vehicle. There’s a semi-thin sheet of clear plastic between you and the elements.

There’s no way to cook a meal or eat in the dome. We expect all guests to eat in town a few minutes away. If you want to bring a grill, you would have to bring everything needed. We only provide a Keurig, k-cups, sugars, dry creamer, stirrer, 2 mugs, two wine glasses, wine opener, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, que-tips and all sizes of towels.

$35 per hour for early check in or late checkout. Check in is 4pm and checkout is 11am.

Hot tub cleaner will come every Friday between 11am-4pm. You must allow access.


We built this dome in the middle of Nature and you may see critters like Scorpions, Wasps, Bees, and Black Widow Spiders. Snakes while never seen could be a possibility. We have quarterly pest control and monthly in the summer. No refunds if you encounter pests. You get to exterminate or liberate any pests you see.
No service animals or any pets to prevent damage to the inflatable Bubble. There is a hard shelled Bubble or Cocoon we provide for pets instead.
