Luxury Mountain Retreat with Scenic Views

Come to enjoy mountain living at its best. After a day on the nearby slopes, mountain bike or hiking trails, relax in the outdoor hot tub overlooking the Continental Divide range. Living room area provides ample space to enjoy a dinner with your family and friends or just watch TV or read a book by a gas fireplace. Heated three car garage, oversized custom kitchen area connected to the large open great room, dining room area with seating for large family gatherings. Gas fireplace in the living room with views over the Continental Divide and Winter Park Ski Area out of every window. Outside sitting area with a wood burning fireplace and a hot tub. Main floor master suite and a separate office. Large family room over the garage with a bunk bed, Foosball table and big screen TV. Two additional bedrooms on the upper floor. Radiant in floor heat throughout the entire home. Located 10 minutes away from the lifts at the Winter Park Resort. Within a short drive from National Forest access and Devil's Thumb Ranch (cross country skiing, dining, horseback riding, fly fishing ). Granby Ranch Ski Resort is under 15 miles away and Grand Lake another 15 miles further. It only takes 10 minutes to Winter Park Ski Area and even less to fill your home with groceries at Safeway. From the moment you drive up the private driveway you will love this house. If you are looking for a family retreat, this is it.

Amazing location, fully-tricked-out home with all the amenities, great hosts that were super responsive. We stayed here about a month, to get a feel for the area, and this house was the perfect home base. Josef was super responsive to our questions and observations about the house. And bonus, deer most mornings and a bear one morning just casually sauntering down the driveway!

Heaven on earth

My family and I stayed in this wonderful home for a week. Rarely do you find a home this well appointed. We lacked for nothing! Josef left us some cold drinks for our afternoon arrival. The kitchen had everything you could want to make meals (a huge array of spices, lots of dinnerware and utensils, plus the pizzas in the freezer were a real hit!) The beds were very comfortable. We loved the privacy and quiet. We were close enough to Fraser, Winter Park and RMNP to get to each easily. My very favorite moments were sitting on the back porch watching squirrels, identifying the numerous wildflowers, drinking coffee in the crisp mountain air. This week was the respite we needed! Josef was quickly responsive to my queries. I can't think of one thing that needs improvement. Thanks, Josef!

Great home for a family vacation

Our family of 6 adults, one teen and an 8-month old baby had a great stay. Clean, simple in and out, good communication with Josef, the owner. Comfortable mattresses, great fireplace on the deck, hot-tub, everything we needed. Even had a walker for the baby. Only minor complaint was the screen door to the deck needs a little work and the sun-shade on the deck was not attached properly and fell when I went to use it. Those would not prevent us from staying here again. Thoroughly enjoyable stay.

Great family trip

House was great for our family. Plenty of kitchen supplies as we did most of our cooking at the house. The hot tub, outside fireplace, and the views….enjoyed by all! Grateful for our five days in Winter Park!

Fantastic Large group property

Brought our family- 7 total people. Property has tons of space, great amenities and quick access to Winter Park for ski. Quiet area and beautiful scenery in the private back yard/covered patio. Highly recommend!

Christmas 2022

Our Kansas family (8 people) had an awesome time in Fraser at this beautiful home during Christmas week 2022. We didn't get to experience the outdoor fireplace due to frigid temps but soaked up the hot tub! The kitchen has....everything (we cook every meal). Since we drive, we take our own supplies, food, beef (yes...we raise our own), etc but nearly every pot/pan/spice is in the kitchen! Loved the kids space for our 3 little ones with bunks, tv, couch. 3 family units had their own space. One of our priorities is a big table and bar....because everybody is part of the kitchen action and we had Christmas eve dinner guests. Plenty of room around the table! Just a great place with Safeway at the bottom of the hill (tried to avoid that...but as always...had to make a couple trips). An awesome family time including 2 days of Granby for all! Thank you so very much to our gracious hosts!

Best VRBO Rental Ever!

This is the best rental we’ve had…ever! We do lots of traveling and stay in a variety of places. The cleanliness, layout, comfort, and location of this house were 100% perfect! We could not have found a better place to spend a week in the mountains. We will be renting this place again every time we come to this part of Colorado.

A Dream Mountain Cabin

My husband and I along with our three daughters stayed in this dream home for a Christmas vacation. It was absolutely beautiful! It had such a great layout with everything you could need. The jacuzzi was so much fun on the back porch in freezing temps. The home stayed pleasantly warm after coming in from the COLD and the heated floors were a wonderful bonus. We did not want to leave and would love to stay there again on the next trip. Do NOT underestimate the benefit of an enclosed carport either. The check in was so easy and great communication with our host. 💯 percent recommend.

We loved this house

We loved the kitchen which had all the essentials like plenty of plates, cooking pots, water glasses, etc. The outdoor fireplace was a big hit too. The picnic table was a nice touch.

Amazing Trip!

This house was perfect! In fact, I think it was one of the best VBRO houses we have ever rented. We were traveling with 6 adults and grandkids and there was plenty of room. The house was beautiful and well thought out. It had everything you could need - including the view! If we ever come back to this area- we will certainly come back! Thank you for making our stay comfortable!

Wonderful Winter Home!

My family and I visit Winter Park multiple times every year. This home was the nicest place that we’ve been in years. The layout works great for parents with children. The property owners have done an amazing job furnishing the home with plenty of entertainment options. The back porch is the definition of function. Having the hot tub covered and out of the elements was a brilliant choice. The grill was actually the appliance that we used the most! I can’t wait to bring my wife back to this one!

Great home for our Ski Group

The pictures do not lie, the home is beautiful, well appointed and clean. Our ski group consists of 6 guys in their 60's who've been skiing together for the past 35 years. Our challenge in selecting lodging is finding a home with 6 beds. This home has 6 beds (not counting the top bunks) but we found the 2 bunk beds to be suitable for kids rather than adults as the mattresses where too soft which made the support slats noticeable and uncomfortable. Also, the bunks were not made up when we checked in, so we hade to find and install the sheets ourselves. Other than that, the property was very spacious and met our needs. This was one of the nicest homes we've rented.

Perfect Mountain Home

We spent a long weekend here and just loved the home! Check-in and communication was simple and easy, directions for the home were sent and also included in a binder (heat, fireplace, internet, etc.). Home is right on the edge of Fraser and has great views over looking town and Winter Park resort. Easy to get to, but you feel secluded once you get there as neighbors are far enough to give you space. Garage is large and spacious and great to park inside during snow months. The home is greatly furnished with just about anything you could ask for, very well stocked and supplied as well. Home was spic and span clean, and plenty of towels including for the hot tub (just look in cabinets and/or laundry room). The layout of the house worked great for our family. The upstairs bunk room with foosball and TV/couch was great for the kids, including the adults that wanted to watch a movie or two. Bathrooms were fantastic, including the master with a steam shower. Our kids played games and one found a toy bin and played more with those then what we brought! The kitchen and open concept with dining and living room we absolutely loved! Kitchen has everything you need, also has a very large pantry. Home only has 1 fridge, so plan accordingly if staying a long period. The open concept including kitchen, dining, and living area with all the large windows gave us exactly what we want in a mountain home to stay with family or friends. With the covered patio right off the living room I can only imagine how great it is in the warmer months with a 2nd fireplace out there. We come to the are a few times a year (CO native) and we would love to stay in this home over and over again!

Perfect Getaway

Amazing house! Everything was extremely clean and the house was fully stocked. Our family enjoyed the cozy fireplace in the living area and the hot tub was amazing. Owners were very responsive. Highly recommend this house if you are staying in Winter Park!

A great Christmas vacation

We could not have been happier with this home for our Christmas in the mountains. All the reviews are accurate. Beautifully furnished home with a great kitchen that our “foodie” kids thoroughly enjoyed. Spacious bedrooms located away from the living areas and bathrooms stocked with upscale amenities made for a very comfortable experience. The hot tub with fantastic mountain views was a favorite. The owners were very accommodating. Knowing we had two young grandkids they graciously decorated the house for the holidays including a live Christmas tree. We’d go back in a heartbeat! Quiet and great location

Great location right outside of town, private and quiet. Beautiful views of the mountains. All the amenities needed for cooking and enjoying cabin as if it were your own. Only minor thing we could complain about was no stocked firewood. Also, if you care about air movement there's no ceiling fans. Overall great experience and would definitely stay again.

Incredible home!

This home is amazing! The views of the mountains are wonderful. The home was super clean and equipped with everything you need. The rooms are well laid out and there was more than enough space for our group. The kitchen has top of the line appliances and a large pantry. The outdoor fireplace and deck were perfect for the cool evenings. Josef was responsive and made the check-in process super easy. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this home.
