Beautiful & Luxurious home on 1 acre - with private HOT TUB, 2 master suites both with King beds, Bunk Room with 2 sets of bunks Twin/Twin & Full/Full beds, plus 2 pullout couches– a Queen on the main floor & a Twin size in the lower level master suite, 3.5 bathrooms, one with a steam shower, sleeps 11 comfortably. Two family rooms both with 4K HD TV. Walk 3 minutes to the free bus shuttle to Winter Park Resort, or drive 6 miles to ski at Winter Park Resort or drive 33 miles to enjoy Rocky Mountain National Park. High vaulted ceilings with natural log beams, rustic mountain decor & hard wood floors with in-floor radiant heat welcome you upon entering this home. The open concept family room features a comfortable leather couch & 2 chairs that face a large flat-screen TV atop the gas fireplace mantle which is adjacent to the bar seating at the granite kitchen counter & the dining room table (seats 6-8). Park in the attached heated 1.5 car garage & store your ski/snowboards in the storage area in the garage. Only 3 minute drive to Safeway/Starbucks & less than a 10 minute drive to Winter park ski resort. The winters are a true winter wonderland with over 3,000 skiable acres at Winter Park! Bundle up for an unforgettable day of world class skiing/snowboarding, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, ice skating, dog sledding, or tubing! Summertime invites several family-friendly attractions, including an alpine slide, climbing wall, zip line or miniature golfing at the base of Winter Park. Or maybe you prefer fishing, biking, High Country Stampede Rodeo, a relaxing massage or facial at Devil’s Thumb Ranch Resort and Spa and countless hiking trails. Head over to Lake Granby or Grand Lake, within 35-40 minute drive from the house. Rent a boat or enjoy a fishing expedition, swim in the refreshing waters or go bird watching and keep an eye out for white pelicans on Shadow Mountain Lake in Grand Lake. I have stayed in plenty of VRBOs and let me tell you — this one was phenomenal! All the little touches they provide, simple but so impactful! Lotions in the bathroom, readers in the kitchen to help see! And it was just gorgeous! The steam shower was lovely and the hot tub was nice and hot! We certainly hope to return again and again!

This beautiful home was filled with lots of extras! The hot tub was lovely after a long day of hiking. It gave us a terrific vantage point of the night sky and many stars! The views of the mountains were beautiful! We took lots of day trips and saw parts of Colorado we had not seen before! My husband went fly fishing every day and was not disappointed! Maureen was communicative, and thorough with everything we needed to enjoy our stay! We will be back!

The home was beautiful and comfortable! Perfect amount of space for three adults and an infant to roam around after a long drive - there was more than enough room for more people to still be very comfortable. The property was beautiful with trees changing in mid-September and we enjoyed having blinds open and sitting on the deck. The toys were a fun surprise for our 10 month old! Communication with owner was easy and helpful - we hope to be back soon!

Our stay was 10/10, wonderful! We had 4 adults and 5 children and we had plenty of space. This home had everything we could have asked for. The kitchen came very well equipped. Excellent proximity to local attractions. Our family visited RMNP, Winter Park, Grand Lake, and even ran to Denver on a day trip. We hiked several of the beautiful nearby trails. Maureen was extremely easy to communicate with and I appreciated how accommodating she was. We would definitely stay again in a heartbeat.

Welcome to your vacation.

To begin - we are a family of 5 on our annual ski trip. This VRBO hit almost all of our boxes. Well apportioned kitchen, beds were comfy and the bathrooms did not disappoint. Downstairs, smart TV, a very nice couch & 2 bedrooms.The upstairs living space, although lovely with a gas fireplace and two pretty nice recliners (that do not face the smart TV), the couch -- OUCH! not comfy, 5 minutes and - awful. Please replace.The hot tub is nice but too small for 5 adults. Works best for 2 - 4.And now the real reason I did not give this property a 5 start rating ... it wasn't the property - it was the "information" material I received just prior to our arrival. Full of threats- fines if you don’t take trash can to the curb on Wednesdays! Clearly, guests are expected to CLEAN the house before leaving AND LEAVE A TIP GOR THE CLEANERS. Trash to the curb, sheets to the laundry room, towels washed. The list goes on. Remember - it is our vacation. We pay You to do the housework. Please, please, please rewrite your “welcome” package.

Rocky Mountain Getaway

Beautiful area with plenty to do for the whole family, and then a wonderful home to come back to. The gourmet kitchen was a hit, as we only dined out twice during the week. This is the third time we have stayed in the home and remains our favorite VRBO rental of all time!!
