"This is a lovely old pub, so one needs to remember things may be a trifle warn. That being said, the shower was hot, the bathroom floor was heated, but grout missing in some of the floor tlies. The food served in the restaurant was AMAZING and the staff were friendly and helpful. I can't thank them enough for making my stay so enjoyable. "

"Very friendly staff throughout our stay. Large room, very comfortable and nice to have a large fan keeping us cool at night. Only issue was the lack of power sockets in this day and age when tech is king, but we managed. Ate at Milly's on the first evening and breakfast on both days, all very nice. Would recommend, especially as Burghley House Estate is literally at the back of the hotel and Stamford itself is a lovely town."

"I had a really great stay at the Bull Inn which is located in a lovely quiet village surrounded by the countryside. My room was very clean, and the bed was so comfortable, and because it’s so peaceful, I had a fabulous nights sleep. Beats noisy large chain hotels any day!!! Lots of tea / coffee with biscuits provided which was nice as I’ve been to many hotels recently where you get minimal items. Lots of free parking and directly outside your own room which was brilliant for carrying suitcases...

Really nice meal, very well cooked and presented generous proportion,accompanied by an excellent ale to wash it down. We'll definitely be staying again. Our only critisism was having the radio playing in the bar and eating area. It would be much less distracting and a more relaxed atmosphere if it was just music playing. Many thanks, Terry. "
