Close to town with country feel. Great Wi-Fi and cell service. Smart Roku TV’s with HDMI cables. Streaming is available using your own account.
Enter the warm, inviting living room with knotty pine walls and white oak floors which has plenty of seating to enjoy the big screen tv.
The dining room has seating for 6 and leads out to a large deck with a gas grill; deck overlooks the waterfall and creek that runs through the expansive meadow. Enjoy the fire pit in the evening while stargazing and listening to the sound of frogs as you sit by the creek.
The spacious kitchen with eat-in breakfast bar has all the amenities (listed) you will need for your stay. A window wall looks out to the deck and meadow. There are gliding windows for a pass through to the outdoor dining table.
The vaulted master bedroom (king bed) has a private full bath with separate shower and a jacuzzi tub. It is attached by double garden doors that open into a sunroom which connects to the dining deck. It also has seating with a big screen tv and window seat.
A guest room (queen bed) on the main level is adjacent to a full bath & shower (deep soaking tub).
The upstairs guest room (double bed) has windows with an elevated view and sound of the waterfall.
Private studio apartment across deck above garage(queen bed) with bath and shower. Space includes a sink, mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker and bistro table for two.

1660 Guest House. Our 4th visit and it was as beautiful as the first visit. Enjoyed the various outdoor seating options as well as outdoor dining on the deck. The Home is always so well maintained and clean. The Host and Housekeeping make your stay feel like a retreat. Thank you for sharing this beautiful home, we hope to return soon.

My family and I absolutely loved the house. There is plenty of room for 6 people. The deck is large and peaceful. The extra studio apartment was a fantastic addition for our family. The house is a close drive to downtown Franklin and only 40 minutes from Bryson City. I would highly recommend the house.

This home has a very warm and inviting feel. Was very clean and very well stocked. Although we didn’t have any children in our party there was plenty of outdoor access for children to run play and have a good time. The kitchen is extremely well stocked. Conveniently located to town.

The kitchen was everything you could ask for and more. At times, we had 4 people doing different things at the same time without congestion. Lots of fun yard things to do. Franklin Rock & Gem Show

This is an outstanding property with an inviting atmosphere and a very well furnished interior. The kitchen is amazing with its amount of windows. Property is close to downtown and easy access off of a main road. Definitely will try to get again next time we attend the rock show.

Clean and Comfortable!

We enjoyed our stay! The house was very clean and comfortable. There were many thoughtful extras including snacks. The property was beautiful with lots of flowers blooming and a very nice waterfall and stream. We had fun playing badminton and basketball. It was very close to shops and restaurants in downtown Franklin.

We enjoyed our stay in Franklin. The house was easily located to all the attractions and Franklin. The home was comfortable and clean with beautiful decks to enjoy. I think I saw a ground hog!
