Hubinger House

Located less than 100’ from Main Street, this is perfect for a weekend getaway or a long summer stay.

Newly remodeled, this 2 bedroom/1 bathroom historic home is fully equipped with brand new furnishings, a completely renovated kitchen, and high-speed Internet. Each bedroom contains a new mattress and a 55” flat screen smart TV, ideal for some alone time or for unwinding after a long day exploring the town. The kitchen is newly renovated with all new appliances and all the utensils you’ll need to prepare a delicious meal.

The back patio is excellent for grilling and relaxing thanks to our outdoor hammock hangout. 4 adult-sized hammocks are suspended from a pergola adjacent to a patio with a table for 6 and a full-sized grill.

Your Space
2 bedrooms and a common area that’s easily converted into additional sleeping space makes accommodating some extra guests comfortable and easy. The master bedroom contains a king size bed, while the second bedroom has a queen size bunk bed with a pull out trundle. The couch in the common area converts into a twin bed and the oversized sofa chair has a pull-out twin bed as well. The bathroom is spacious and has been newly remodeled with a large tile shower.

Your Host
I want your stay to be as comfortable as possible! I am always available via phone, text, email, or airbnb messenger to answer any questions you might have before or during your stay. If you have any complications with the home or any of the equipment, I don’t live far and would be happy to come and assist you if needed.

Your Neighborhood
The Hubinger Haus is within walking distance of most of the popular destinations in Frankenmuth. Enjoy an afternoon wine tasting at St. Julian Winery (4min walk) or grab a beer at the Frankenmuth Brewery (5min walk). If you’re feeling a chicken dinner with all the fixings, Zehnder’s Restaurant and the Bavarian Inn are only about a 10 minute walk away. There are plenty of other popular landmarks nearby, including The Christmas Station, Splash Village, Prost, Tiffany’s, and more!

Getting Around
Most of the best of what Frankenmuth has to offer is centrally located from the house and is easy to get to with a quick walk. For a bit of added ‘zip,’ consider trying one of our electric scooters, available for both half and full day rentals during your stay! The place was very nice and had everything you could think of or left at home. It was very cold the first night because the boiler took a long time to warm up but once it did we were fine. They do have a space heater but I was nervous leaving on overnight. Beautiful deck!

The host was welcoming. Our stay there was good. It was a nice and cute little house, but the house was really cold. The heat didn't seem to work very well, thank goodness for the space heater. Extra toilet paper would great, especially when there are several people staying (1 roll provided) . Also, as a fellow homeowner, the issue with the water leaking in the bathroom can become a nightmare. There's no seal around the shower door. That causes a lot of water to get onto the bathroom floor. Other than that, the house is great, and the location is perfect. The neighborhood is so safe. We would definitely stay there again.

Pet friendly was very nice. Bathroom needs a lot of attention. Switches are broken, fan doesn’t work, shower needs major attention and cleaned. The heat situation is not ideal for cold winter days. If the thermostat is set below 73 you will not have much heat. We set it on 70 and woke up to the house at 59 degrees. Space heaters were provided however that isn’t a safe way to properly heat a home. Other than these things the house was in a great location and the perfect size for a few people. Furniture was comfortable and the big dining table was very nice. Comfortable beds and pillows.

We were very disappointed with this unit. My husband is a disabled veteran with mobility issues. I asked when I booked if there were stairs. The steps to the entry were extremely difficult for my husband to use and he fell twice. The trash from a previous guest was not emptied. I assumed that by paying the cleaning fee that the unit would be reasonably clean. I was wrong. Steps to basement for W/D were dangerous. They were steep and there was no handrail. The house had no heat. There were two space heaters in the closet, one of which didn't work. I pulled them out amid dust and dirt. We felt owner didn't wish to directly address our issues. Lightswitch in bathroom has an issue. It will not turn off overhead light in the shower. Our stay in Frankenmuth was ruined. We left after the first day.

This adorable house is in a nice neighborhood .5 miles from the Bavarian Inn restaurant and shopping. The host was super responsive when I had questions. I felt very comfortable at Huber House. Weather didn’t permit using the patio and swings, but it looked very inviting.

This property is getting tired. We were unable to get network tv as instructions on the tv servicrs were not existant. Minor issues include: light switch in bathroom not working, no tablespoons bulbs burned out, grill grates had holes in them, Coffee pot still had the old grounds in filter basket.not cleaned since last people. Attention to detail not up to the standards we have become used to from vrbo.Great location could walk to just about everything.

It was very peaceful and quiet……we loved it! The host was very welcoming with a note for us on the board in the dinning room. We stayed over Oktoberfest weekend and it was just a block away from Main Street which was perfect, cause we could walk to every where and not deal with traffic. We would definitely rent this house again. Thank you to the host for making us feel like we were at a home away from home!

The house is older but was redone very well. It's perfect for a small family or couple of friends. The backyard has a large table and chair and a fireplace. We tried out the hanging chairs, and they weren't for us, but would be a cozy spot for kids to relax. Overall it was a great vacation and Kaeley was a great host.

Nice little place in a quiet neighborhood

We got to meet Kaeley. She's a very nice host and person. The place was clean and comfortable and very close to all the main attractions in Frankenmuth. Would stay there again.

Great location, just needs new pan lids

Perfect if you're interested in downtown shopping, within walking distance of Cheese Haus! Quick drive to groceries and Christmas Land. Only issue was with some of the amenities - pan lids didn't fit, bathroom light switch was broken, heat doesn't distribute through the whole house (though there are space heaters to help!) Overall, the location makes up for it. Great stay!
