New Track in Church Bottom The new track of crushed chalk runs north west up the side of the bottom to Longlands Farm. The old track used to do a dog leg down the side of the field on the extreme right

Lime Kiln in South Slip This overgrown brick built lime kiln is almost invisible in the undergrowth of the woods known as South Slip which is at the northern end of Long Bottom on its eastern slopes.

Just ok for one night. I did not like to have my room frezzing cold when arriving in the evening. I had to comnect the radiator and go to the lobby to give time for the room to warm

We had a wonderful stay at the Royal Lion, our room was spacious with all amenities and a lovely view of Broad st. All the staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. The food was amazing too with a great menu! Well done everyone!
