    This beautifully updated 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom condo is located on the 5th floor and offers a comfortable and inviting coastal retreat. The unit features a king-size bed in the primary bedroom and two double beds in the guest bedroom, comfortably sleeping up to six guests. The condo has been freshly painted and nicely furnished throughout, creating a clean and welcoming atmosphere. The balcony provides a beautiful, relaxing view of the Gulf, located approximately 50 yards out, offering a peaceful glimpse of the emerald waters and sugar-white sand beaches just steps away. Guests are just minutes from local dining and shopping in Fort Walton Beach, with the attractions of nearby Destin only six miles away.

    Please Note: No smoking in the unit or on balconies. No pets allowed due to severe owner allergies. Renters must be 25 years or older.

Perfect beach location

We loved the layout of the condo! We had a beautiful view of the beach and loved that the pool was at the entrance/exit to the beach for easy access.

Great family vacation.

The check in office was conveniently located and staffed by a very friendly staff. Everything went as smooth as anywhere i have ever stayed. The condo was large and well furnished. All the appliances and plumbing worked flawlessly. We will plan on staying with these folks on our next vacation to Fort Walton Beach.

Great fun in the sun

We looked forward to an on-beach place and this was great. It had a wonderful view of the gulf and a close, private entrance to the white sand of the beach. The location was nice because it was on a dead end road with not much traffic, but still close to many places we visited. We also liked being near a military base because we saw a lot of cool jets flying over.The space was perfect for us and two adult sons. We had the king & they had the two fulls with separate bathrooms. The living spaces and kitchen were spacious.Except for a few minor unavoidable hiccups, we had a lovely stay. We all needed this time away

Good place for the money

When we arrived the dishwasher was out of order but was promptly fixed the next morning. Also when we arrived the condo smelled stongly of cigarette smoke. Other than that it was a great location & nice condo. The beds were comfortable & the condo was nicely furnished.

Location was great. Construction all week long was not. No notifications regarding construction taking place. Emailed to inquire about beach equipment with no response. Laundry is in the hallway-not the condo, and you need to pay to use both the washer and dryer.

I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: When we got here the room hadn’t been cleaned yet! The elevator didn’t work for a day ! The condo was nice on the inside but outside not so much! Probably wouldn’t stay here again.

For views and location, this place was great. Emerald Isle property is great as a whole. This particular unit, not so great. The king bed was comfortable and the condo was clean except for the rugs and floors. The rugs were grungy and stained. The shower curtain rod fell from the wall. The sink disposal was broken. Not one remote worked for the fans or lights. I’m assuming they were dead batteries but there were no replacement batteries. I called about these issues and the only thing fixed was the shower rod. They literally told me “we know the disposal is broken and have no interest in fixing it because it keeps breaking.” We are a family of 4 and had one trash bag for our 7 night stay. Other than towels and bedding, there was literally nothing else provided. We read this in previous reviews (after booking) and asked the host about this but did not receive a reply. We had family members staying in other condo units from different hosts whose condo units provided everything they needed and more and felt way more clean. Their dishwasher broke and not only did their host fix it but they provided paper plates, utensils, and cookies while it was being worked on. I wish we would have had the same experience/communication with our host. I would most definitely recommend staying at Emerald Isle, just not in this unit or from this rental group.

Family vacation friendly

We had a great trip overall! Never needed the property manager for anything (grateful for that). Pictures were as described. Enough towels were provided, you will have to buy toilet paper and toiletries as they are not provided (one toilet paper roll per restroom for a week) no big deal just a heads up! There isn’t dish soap or a sponge/paper towels in the kitchen. There is on site laundry, small charge for each load! Property is well kept! Pool was nice and access to everything was nice as well.

The views is just as described the condo was set up nice and comfortable but doesn't provide ANYTHING no dish soap or sponge to wash dishes two trash bags for a week stay two rolls of toilet paper not even salt and pepper the walk to the beach ways longer than expected about 5 minutes with 12 steps the parking spot is right next to the elevator but a very tight spot to get a vehicle in and out of the worst part is the construction its so loud you can hear it from the beach it started at 8am and didn't stop till 5pm there is washer and dryer but you have to pay 1.75 each the beach was green with algae and was not nice the hole time so we did go to other beaches.

The condo was clean and well taken care of. But our stay was not enjoyable. They didn’t warn us that construction was going on. It woke up early each morning with loud banging and drilling. The rental people wanted us to move the porch furniture off the patio for the maintenance being done. They said that the owners would be fined for the furniture being on the patio even though it was out on the patio on the day we arrived. I feel as if it was an issue the rental company should be responsible for moving the furniture and we had a heated call between the rental place where they hung up on my husband after he refused to move the furniture into our little space in the living room. Someone finally showed up and moved it themselves.

The patio was perfect for my morning coffee, watching the waves and the wildlife. I loved that we had our own parking spot, except it would of been nice to know that ahead of time and where it was located, had a really hard time finding it in the dark when we first arrived. The lighting in the parking lot was AWFUL!! The pool was very nice and clean. The beach was like a 2 minute walk from our condo. We loved everything about our stay EXCEPT the kitchen pots and pans; EVERYTHING stuck to them! You really need to invest in some new pots and pans. Also the facelift that was happening on the building was annoying, the pounding and the noise every morning waking me up. That kind of stuff couldn’t be done on the “off season”?

Some issues with our experience.

The condo was clean, spacious and had a great view of the ocean. However when we walked in it clearly smelled like cigarette smoke. Also after we checked out the realtors home inspector tried to put us on the hook for a broken kitchen sink to get us to pay for something that was clearly not broken when we left. They said it was hanging off the counter which would be impossible since it is an under mount sink. Wouldn’t recommend going through this group (Alicia J Hollis Realtor Group) because I assume this is their standard practice and not good business.

I won’t rent through the realtor company again, though. The night before we were scheduled to check in wasn’t rented, I called to see if they would give us a discount on that one night because we would get there at midnight and just be sleeping there. They wouldn’t budge. Going through an owner, if there’s one night not booked, they’ll give you a discount because they’d rather get SOME money instead of none. Not the realtor company. Other than that, no issues.
