Beachbums Hideaway - Unique Artsy Beachfront Townhouse

  • ¿Cansado de quedarse en condominios impersonales, caros y ruidosos? ¿Quieres que te traten más como a una familia en lugar de a otro inquilino? Nuestra unidad para no fumadores es una escapada inusual para una pareja (y tal vez un niño pequeño). Vivimos en los dos pisos superiores de una casa residencial de tres pisos ubicada directamente en el Golfo de México en la isla de Okaloosa y alquilamos de vez en cuando nuestro apartamento tipo estudio en la planta baja.

    Nuestra unidad no es para todos. Si desea divertirse hasta altas horas de la madrugada, hay muchas otras unidades disponibles. Pero si no le importa estar bastante tranquilo desde las 10:00 p. M. Hasta las 6:00 a. M., No le importe un pequeño perro mezcla de schnauzer y yorkie llamado Lottie, y disfrute de relajarse con una margarita y un poco de música Jimmy Buffett, esto debería quedarte bien.

    Su lugar de estacionamiento dedicado estará justo en frente del edificio, a solo unos pasos de la entrada. Tenemos dos bicicletas para que recorras la isla, y puedes pedir prestado el equipo de pesca de Dave para hacer un poco de pesca de surf. También se proporciona equipo de playa (sillas, toallas, sombrilla, tablas de surf, fresbies, juguetes para niños, etc.). Tendrá una terraza privada con un bar y una ducha exterior cerrada para enjuagarse después de un día en la playa (sí, también tenemos un baño completo adentro).

    Termine la noche con un juego de dardos, ajedrez o un juego de mesa, o seleccione una película de nuestra colección de DVD.

The location couldn’t be any better!! Quiet & less crowded beach access with no annoying rental umbrellas blocking the view. The house was well stocked with everything you could possibly need & plenty of room for everyone to stretch out. My kiddos had the best first beach trip! We can’t wait to stay at the beach bums hideaway again soon!

Our stay was very nice. The location is unbeatable, the beach was beautiful, and we did not find ourselves wanting for much. The house came with beach chairs and an umbrella, an outdoor shower, and a nice outdoor dining set that made experiencing the view very easy. I mentioned a few items to the host that could use some attention and they were quick to reply that they would make sure they were addressed for future guests. Overall we found the house to be pleasant, quiet and very peaceful. We are glad we stayed here.

Literally as close to the beach as you can get for this price! We didn’t even use the beach cart that we brought. And so many cool decorations!

I will be back one day! We like to enjoy different scenery but I would come back to this house. The only thing I have to say is cooking for a family was a little difficult with limited pots and pans. We only cook a few times anyway on vacation so we made it work but we enjoyed our stay and the space the house offers. & the view and so close to the beach was amazing!

Everyhing was perfect. Everything we could need was available. The location was perfect and a great spot to have morning coffee overlooking the Gulf. Bed was super comfy. We will be back for sure !

My family and I had a great time at Beachbum's Hideaway. It had plenty of space for everyone and it was amazing being that close to the beach. The property was equipped with beach chairs and an umbrella, which was fantastic because it meant a few less things to pack. It is our hope to visit again should we ever be in the area. The hosts were great at communication and check-in was a breeze.

Beachbums hideaway was a terrific place to stay for our family. If you have older teenagers they’ll love having a little independence on the lower level. They had their own kitchen, bathroom and bedroom, not to mention a door straight out to the beach.

We really enjoyed our stay at BeachBums Hideaway. It was clean and family friendly. The deck has a perfect view right on the beach. We would definitely stay here again. Chris the owner was great and went out his way to make sure our family had a great time.

This place was perfect! Great location for all that we wanted to do. The beach was fantastic and we had super easy access to it. I don't think that we could a picked a more perfect listing. If we ever get a chance to go back to this area we will look for this very same place. The home had everything that we needed and more. Definitely a beach bums PERFECT hideaway!

Everything was excellent. The townhouse is directly in the beach, which meant easy access and great views. The place was very clean and had everything we needed during our stay. Communication with the host was also fast and detailed. We will certainly be back.

We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful beach house. Loved the close proximity to the beach. Very much enjoyed the peaceful neighborhood. These hosts provide everything you need in the way of toiletries, laundry detergent, fabric softener sheets, dish detergent, dishwasher capsules, paper towels. They even have beach chairs and umbrellas available to take to the beach. Also, thoughtful enough to provide sunscreen and beach towels! The ONLY negative is that you step inside the door to immediately face 14 stairs up to the kitchen/living room/deck. Then 14 more up to the bedrooms (however, both do have en suite bathrooms). BUT, keep in mind, there is a lovely studio suite that a person can access without going up any stairs. I very much enjoyed all the awesome decor. Would we stay here again? In a heartbeat!

This place was absolutely wonderful! We stayed during the middle of March--a typical college spring break week and you would never have known it! The beachfront area that you could walk straight down to was so close, it was unbelievable & so convenient. The townhouse had three levels was quite spacious with lots of closets & storage areas all around the place.The master bedroom was gorgeous with the ensuite bathroom & stand alone tub with hand shower attached to it,along w/reg shower. The bottom level was a full studio-like apartmt.w/kitchenette & bathroom that was great for the kids.The regular kitchen was stocked with many cooking appliances & dishware, etc.The decor of the entire place was very pleasing & the personal touches left for guests were very welcoming. Beach chairs,towels were already provided which was an added plus.Outdoor shower was so nice to wash off the beach sand before going inside.Beds were comfortable. The outside balcony with table & chairs were so relaxing to enjoy the beautiful view of the ocean w/ your coffee or evening drinks & listen to the sound of the ocean.We were very close to local restaurants & nearby grocery stores & just over the bridge was Destin.The owners were so easy to communicate with & left very clear instructions.Our week's stay could not have been any more delightful. We cannot say enough great things about "Beachbums Hideaway!" We would definitely stay there again in a heartbeat! Highly recommend!

Amazing Place/Location

This is definitely my favorite place I’ve ever stayed in Florida! The condo has everything you need & you walk right outside & you’re on the beach. This was the first time I’ve actually had interaction with the host out of the many times I’ve used VRBO & they were so awesome & kind! I will definitely be returning here for a future stay & this will be my go to spot from here on out.

This is just as described. If your looking for a beautiful beach & quiet location this is it. You just walk out the patio up a few steps on the walkway bridge & there you are….. the beach! The bungalow is cozy & the two of us were comfortable. Location is away from the hustle & bustle of the strip but it’s really only a short drive away. We hope to book this again!

Unique studio unit steps away from beach

We really loved staying here, and it was very clean. You get a lot of bang for your buck here. There's an outdoor shower (and a normal bathroom inside too) which was which was nice to wash sand off. You can sit outside on the patio and hear the waves. The beach is just a few steps from the unit. The location is very good, a few minutes drive to the main strip with restaurants grocery stores and some shopping. There's bikes and umbrellas and chairs provided, which we appreciated. Quite a few toiletries too and even found some sunscreen in the unit, which is nice if you forgot anything. Dave and Ginny were very nice and helpful, excellent hosts and we would gladly stay here again!

Beach Bum Hideaway

We had an excellent stay and will be booking again soon! They had everything you need to have a comfortable stay and then some! Host are friendly and had great recommendations of the area.
