Southern Comfort Downtown Ft Smith!

For your overnight stopover, for attending events downtown, or for your business or pleasure trip, you will love the convenience, comfort and amenities offered during your stay at this remodeled 2 bedroom cottage! Located in a quiet, walkable neighborhood on the edge of the Downtown district. Walk to over 10 restaurants, shopping and all downtown attractions! Dog friendly and convenient parking in front and rear.

THE BEDROOMS have a queen bed with pillowtop mattress, dresser and it's own TV in one bedroom, while the second bedroom has a queen bed and a recliner.
THE LIVING ROOM has a leather sofa sleeper that guests will enjoy when traveling with a family and boasts a 55" smart tv and additional seating.
THE KITCHEN is fully stocked, supplied with all your cooking needs to prepare a great meal at home or order in. Relax in the morning with a choice of breakfast items to include coffee, several delicious teas, various creamers, oatmeal and pancake mix.
THE BATHROOM is fitted with a new soaking tub and shower, lighted anti- fog mirror, custom vanity, shampoo, conditioner, bath gel, hair dryer and plenty of lush towels.
AMENITIES include hi speed internet, cable tv with Netflix, Keurig coffeemaker, gas range with griddle, microwave and a large laundry area stocked with detergent and fabric softner that is located in the basement which is accessable through a separate side entry.
ENJOY a small neighborhood park and awesome coffee shop only 2 blocks away! Fenced-in side yard for your dog. This will be your new "go to" place when visiting the Fort Smith area or just passing through.
EASY ACCESS: Guests will have access via Smartlock, allowing for self check in, private entrance and out front parking in addition to extra parking in the rear that you access from the alley.
Other things to note
This is strictly a NON SMOKING property.
There is a locked "Owner's" supply closet located in the hallway not for guest use.
PETS: (Dogs only) are welcome but must be added to booking. There is a fenced side yard accessable from the kitchen for your convenience. No dogs are allowed on furniture but are provided a comfy cushion to relax on while here, along with a food and water bowl and "welcome" treat. There is a one time pet fee of $50. To prevent possible damage, pets are asked to be crated when left alone. If you have no crate, a crate can be provided at no additional charge.

BFF Visit

Convenient, quiet, clean

After a few negative experiences with short-term rentals, this was such a pleasant departure. Property is precious and has everything you need for your stay. Plenty of instantly hot water, and in spite of proximity to the hospital, it's a quiet, restful spot. Host is conscientious about guest comfort without being intrusive, and was an excellent source of information about the local area (this was my first visit). As others have indicated in their reviews, I'll plan to stay here again when I return to Ft. Smith, and have already recommended it to friends. I particularly appreciate that the host uses a new door code for each guest, which isn't necessarily always the case. It's worth noting that the heat source is a wall heater, so this might not be an ideal location for families with small children, but it sure was cozy! See you next year!

Second Stay at Southern Comfort

This was our second time staying at Southern Comfort as we made our way back home across country. Once again, the home was super clean and comfortable. The place looked just like the pictures. Super cute and clean! Quiet street close to downtown. Could easily walk. We did not because very hot when we were there in July. Lol. Plenty of linens and stocked kitchen. We could easily cook just needed to get ingredients. Loved the touch of coffee and oatmeal and popcorn provided. Washer and dryer use was so nice so we could pack clean clothes! Definitely recommend! Host was wonderful...making recommendations and providing information about local stores/restaurants!

Cathy’s home was everything we needed. It was the perfect place to stay for a night as we made our way across country. Her home is extremely clean and very comfortable. Cathy was a great host and ensured our stay was perfect. If the stars align we would love to stay here again on our way back home.
