}his farmhouse with vaulted ceilings and exposed beams sits on a 200 acre operational farm just minutes from the most popular attractions such as: Desoto State Park, Desoto Falls, Mentone, AL, Little River Canyon, Historic Downtown Fort Payne, Alabama Fan Club Museum, Cloudmont Ski & Golf Resort and more! This home offers two bedrooms and two full baths. You can also enjoy the screened in back porch with spacious hot tub or the outdoor fire pit.

This property was beautiful and the location both peaceful and convenient in every way! The farmhouse feel, antique furniture, old hardwood floors, and remnants from the past literally took me back thirty years to Grandma's house and made me feel so at home, I almost cried happy tears! Perfect home base for local rock climbing, bouldering, and hiking trails. The hot tub was great to relax sore muscles and warm up on cooler evenings. The only thing to note would be the heaviness of the master bathroom door- it is a heavy barn door without a handle, so pulling it open and shut is difficult if you have limited upper body strength (for elderly guests or, in my case, are three months out from a major back surgery). Otherwise, the house is perfect!! The cows in the backyard were a very sweet and entertaining sight as well. We plan to stay here again so that our children can enjoy it with us next time. 10/10, would definitely recommend!

This property was perfect for our mini vacation to the mountains. The house is beautiful! Very cozy. Hot tub was amazing! I highly recommend this house! It was super clean, management team were very responsive to any questions, and was nicely located between Little River Canyon and Desoto State Park. Can’t say enough on how much we enjoyed staying here.

Kitchen was spacious and clean, however a few more items would be nice in the kitchen. We only stayed 2 nights, so, no cooking. However, we noticed there were no serving dishes so if you cook, you'll eat out of the pots & pans. We took wine with us and had to use iced tea glasses. Again, it was fine for our needs for 2 nights. Location was perfect and easy to get to! Would rent again.

We loved the layout and this home and the peaceful setting. It was clean with very comfortable beds. Showers worked well. Had a nice area for an outside fire if you want. Located close to activities and not far from groceries.

What a delightful stay!

We loved everything about our stay. This was a quick stay after attending a family member's graduation, and this little farmhouse is everything we expected. The home is comfortable and in a nice private setting. It was an ideal location to visit some of the waterfalls and natural beauty nearby. Very peaceful and quiet! We hope to be back soon.

Quiet Secluded Farmhouse Cottage

A classic, quite, farmhouse hideaway! Overall a great stay. Located minutes from local state parks, nature attractions and drivable downtown for all your local needs. TV remote batteries in both bedrooms were dead and didn't work. Towels need to be bleached or replaced, they smell very damp-musty once they're wet and continue to smell once they're dry. The couch has its legs cut off it and sits on the floors which is really uncomfortable if you have bad back/hips and are over 5'8"tall. The kitchen table chairs were the only comfortable adult chairs in the house. Be careful with the rocking recliner, it tips over backwards easily and will dump you out on the floor. Kitchen and fridge was clean, but cookware pans are old and scratched up and not safe to cook on.
