  • Wobbly Pelican #2 sits next door to the original 3 bedroom Wobbly Pelican (#1). The home currently has an ocean view from the bedrooms and the beach is just steps away! The exterior of the house is new including siding, windows, doors & AC. The heated pool has been re-tiled / re-surfaced and a new privacy fence has been installed. The main elevated living floor has new flooring and paint among other updates. The house boasts one large deck which has a portion that is screened in. 3 bedrooms (Queen, Queen, Twin + Twin) and 2 full bathrooms. Washer and dryer on site. Maximum occupancy is 6. Property is located between public beach access 16 and 17 which is about 1/2 mile from the Publix grocery store to the north and 1/2 mile from CVS to the south.

Great home! We loved our time at this home! Great location, clean, stocked with everything we needed for the stay. Even had beach chairs and an umbrella for us to use on the beach. Loved the pool and hot tub. We definitely will stay here again!

Lovely home with easy access to beach, shopping, restaurants. Hosts were extremely responsive and helpful. Was a wonderful and relaxing vacation!

Truly enjoyed my stay! Was very clean and well appointed. The host was very helpful. Mid Island location can't be beat! High recommend!

What a beautiful house so close to the gulf. 6 beach chairs, umbrella and an insulated cooler bag. We had a great girls trip. Kevin was very reaponsive and helpful! We will define stay there again!

We stayed from 6-1 to 6-6 and even though the weather didn’t cooperate with our stay, we had a wonderful time. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub four out of five days and still managed to come home to Pennsylvania with a tan (weather was cloudy and some rain). The house was very close to the beach for a few that wanted to add a few steps while on vacation. The accommodations were clean and fully stocked with almost anything needed. The only thing missing was a bathroom on the ground level but it looks like that might be a way to in progress. Never had to contact host because never any problems. We were able to get the hot tub working since the directions were easy to follow. Hopefully we get to return to FMB and stay here again.

Upon arrival, the place is exactly like the pictures. The house was clean and even had things we didn't know we need such as extension cords. The location is within walking distance to direct access to the beach.Laundry onsite was fabulous and I fell in love with the machines. The pool was great and we learned that in Florida the pool doesn't cool down.We asked several questions and received very prompt responses.We went July 4th midweek and left July 5th, the beach was empty. It didn't matter what time of the day we went, it was empty. The shells were amazing. Dolphins were sent before 9 a.m. in the ocean. We were told by locals that July 4th is a slow time for FMB.We absolutely loved our stay and our teenagers enjoyed it as well which they can be quite picky. It was our first time to the area and absolutely loved it. We will probably do a couples trip the next time but definitely will be back.

Beautiful home with an amazing hot spa and heated pool. Beds were comfortable, bathrooms great, everything clean and very well stocked kitchen. Chairs, umbrella for beach and short walk to the beautiful beach. Comfortable chairs in the living room to lounge and wonderful screened porch. It was a spectacular stay and we would definitely stay there again. Great communication with host as well. Absolutely no complaints. Thanks again!

Laundry was great. Place was great too. Host was great. We just couldn’t figure out the pool and the hot tub settings to be able to use them. Pool hadn’t been cleaned in a while but if we could’ve heated it we would’ve used it. It wasn’t that bad. Overall we had a great stay and would certainly go back.

I stayed in the Home for three nights with my daughters and their husbands . It was a very nice house. Very well appointed. The Kitchen was very well equipped and everything was nice and clean. Kevin and Jennifer were very accommodating and responsive. It was a short pleasant walk to the beach and access was very simple. We had three great days in Fort Myers.

Wobbly Pelican 2

Location was amazing. Although you can see the Gulf from 1 bedrooms, the deck is on the street side so can’t really watch sunsets. There is a new 3 story house being built which will affect privacy. Inside was great, and we loved the screened part of the deck. There were no lamps in the bedrooms, which made it impossible to read in bed. Also no place in the primary suite to put clothes and even set a suitcase on. Our suitcase spent the whole time on the floor. I would definitely stay here again. Also, Walgreens is 1 mile away as we walked that direction a few times.

Beach getaway at the Wobbly Pelican #2

Excellent! This property is clean, homey, small(er) & simple…..complete with everything you will need. Perfect location just a few miles south of Times Square & steps to the beach. There are towels, 4 beach chairs and a styrofoam cooler for your convenience. There is no beach wagon, so you will need to haul them yourself. The pool/spa area in the back yard is west facing & wonderful. Currently, there are some balls, lounge floaters & noodles to enjoy. We took full advantage of them and used the grill many times. Loved that we had access to a washer & dryer on the lower level/garage too. The neighborhood is quiet at night, but the mornings started early with sounds of construction, but that is to be expected as they rebuild after the recent hurricanes. It is high season now and traffic into Times Square is busy and often times, backed up. Give your self plenty of time if you are driving into town or hop on the trolley for activities, especially if you’re going there for sunset. FYI Uber/Lyft are difficult to get now too. We had wonderful communication with the owners and they made themselves available whenever we had issues or questions. Thank you, Jennifer!! If you ever want to plan a family gathering, consider renting the Wobbly Pelican #1 next door too. We would definitely rent here again!!
