Welcome to The Grand Mango. This spacious home is perfect for large families or groups traveling together. The first level provides family fun with your own private tiki bar at the back, let your competitive side come out with teaming up to play the ever- popular corn hole, a pin ball machine, the classic Donkey Kong arcade, and catch your fav team or movie on the TV and this all opens out to the pool area. A covered area with a grill and outdoor dining table finishes the first floor and provides space for everyone. The second level provides a spacious open concept living, dining, and kitchen area. The kitchen features stainless-steel appliances, granite countertops, and an island for extra prep space. Seat 8 guests at the dining table with additional seating at the breakfast bar. Relax in the living room that provides plenty of seating and large flat screen TV. French doors lead out to a screened lanai, perfect space for starting the day with a cup of coffee. Guests will find 3 king bedrooms on this level, each with access to a covered deck. The third level features another open concept living, dining, and kitchen area. An additional screened lanai features a spacious living area, outdoor dining, a hammock to relax in, and a hockey foosball table. Two more bedrooms can be found on this level. A queen bedroom with balcony access and a bedroom with two sets of twin-over-twin bunk beds. This home also has an additional sleeper sofa allowing up to 14 guests to sleep comfortably. Welcome to Fort Myers Beach! There are multiple state parks nearby that are waiting for your adventures. Jump on the trolley to take you south to the secluded Lover's Key State Park or go north to Bowditch Point Park. The Fish Tale Marina offers boat rentals and dockage for those wanting to get out on the water. Travel around the island in style in a rented Moke or golf cart. Trolley service is also available from Estero Boulevard to the Times Square area, the central hub of Fort Myers Beach. Several restaurants, shops, and bars have come back since the hurricane. If a day trip is what you are looking for check out the Key West Express for an unforgettable trip to Key West. Don’t forget to see Sanibel Lighthouse which is less than 15 miles away! Please note that the area is currently rebuilding after Hurricane Ian. Despite the changes, the island continues to get better and better, inviting you to bask in the sun, sand, and amazing sunsets once again. Nice house. Lots of room and entertainment. Everything was in working order and clean. Only issues we had were what I assume were previous tenants left garbage can lid off so day 1 we had a mess of other people’s garbage in the driveway from raccoons. Easily rectified and put lid on with the provided bricks.

The house was beautiful and very well taken care of. The pool area was great and had shade on it until early afternoon. The area is still in shambles from past hurricanes, which we were told ahead of time, but there were still plenty of places to eat within driving distance. The issue I had was the fact that the elevator was not working! This was the main reason I booked this house due to some mobility issues with my husband.When we arrived, I left two messages expecting a call back on Monday. No call, so I called them. They sent someone out who had no idea what he was doing. He just turned it off and on again. Sent another person out later who did the same thing. It was never fixed during our stay and they never reached out to see how they could correct the problem. I sent them an email when we returned and they never replied. So, basically…nice house but terrible customer service. If you need the elevator to get around, I wouldn’t count on it working. They don’t seem to care if it is or not, even though it is stated as an amenity on the website.

9 person family vacation

The house was amazing. We took our adult children and their spouses/significant others to Ft Myers beach and the house was exactly as described. The 3rd floor is essentially an apartment on its own, so my adult children that were upstairs had their own space. The beach was only a couple of blocks away, which made it easy to get to. My husband loved the rovr cooler so much (provided at the house) that our kids bought him one for fathers day! The pool was big enough for all 9 of us, and we used it often! We were able to get an early check in, and getting in touch with the rental consultant was so easy and flawless. It was definitely a fun house and I would absolutely rent it again.

Mango house

Lovely home that needs a few home improvements. The pool and hot tub were excellent additions and enjoyed daily. The garage door did not work and the elevator worked when it wanted to. Everything you would need for the beach was an added benefit with the exception of needing a new umbrella but we made do with it. A/C and a bathroom in the bottom level would be nice as well. Blackout curtains would be beneficial. Would definitely stay again with a few home improvements.

Extended family under one roof

10 people from a mixed family stayed comfortably. Pool was great, hot tub was great, plenty of cornhole and pinball time as well. Plenty of space for both shared time and for breaking away in smaller groups. A couple minor issues requiring maintenance but the response was timely and issues were taken care of. Great location for beach access and tram/downtown access as well. Would certainly recommend and would certainly stay here again. Will also likely follow up with Sun Palace on a smaller rental (for a smaller group) in the future. Great vacation & lots of great memories at the Grand Mango.

Perfect place for a group

The entire process from booking to checking out was easy. The place was clean and had easy access to the beach. They had all the necessities we needed to make our day at the beach perfect. Would stay here again.

Celebration of Life

Very nice for family. The elevator did not , however, work. I walk with a can and the steps were hard for me to maneuver. Everyone else was fine and I did manage to get up and down with help from my children. We swam in the pool and the beach was very close . Some of our local relatives came for dinner and they thought the house was great.

Family Vacation

We loved our family vacation at the Grand Mango! The description of this house dies not do it Justice! Great staff that welcomed us and took care of us while we were there! Pool is amazing and the layout C was perfect for adults and 5 young children!! We will definitely be back!! Loved every minute! Close to beach and great restaurants very close! Couldn’t have been better!!

Nice house for multi family vacation

We booked this house because we were looking for something near the beach that slept at least 10 and had a pool. The group kept growing until my entire family ended up traveling. Ultimately 14 different people spent various nights in the house, including six adults, six teenagers, and two children. Communication with the property management company prior to our arrival was quick and accurate. They answered questions and had no problem adjusting our ever expanding guest list. A week prior to arrival they sent me the codes for the doors and the garage so when members of my party arrived before I did, they were able to unpack and enjoy the pool until we arrived. The house was as described. It looks like it was two apartments at one point that is now rented as a single unit. There are three bedrooms downstairs with king size beds plus a pullout sofa. Upstairs has a queen size bedroom and the bunk room, plus another pull out sofa. You do take outdoor stairs to the upstairs, so it was great for a multi family vacation but wouldn’t be so great for a large family with small children. There are a lot of stairs but you can see where they are adding an elevator. The bedrooms are small, but the living spaces are were big enough that we never felt crowded. The bunk room was odd because we couldn’t find any outlets so the teenagers that stayed there could not charge their devices near their bed. It was also warm, but we found a few box fans that we set outside the door blowing in to cool it off. Overall the house stayed above 73 degrees, regardless of where we set the thermostat, but with fans it was not too warm to sleep. We made good use of the washer and dryer in both units and both had full kitchens with dishwashers as well. The one issue we had with the kitchens was ants. We left a box of donuts on the counter and the next morning it was crawling with ants. We had to store food in the fridge or microwave. The pool was a good size, although we never got to the point that everybody was in the pool at the same time. With the height of the house, it was in the shade the entire morning and again in the later afternoon. We did have a few maintenance items while we were there. We only contacted the rental company about one that impacted the overall security of the house while we visited and then notified them of the others at checkout. The one that we notified them of during our stay, they sent out maintenance within an hour or so.

Family Vacation to Ft Myers Beach

The property was very nice and conveniently located! We truly enjoyed our stay! It was a short walk to the beach and not far from many activities and restaurants. The pool was very nice and private - we spent many lazy afternoons enjoying it. There was plenty of room for everyone to spend time together in the living room/kitchen areas and we played lots of games in the evenings in the open space. The home was very clean upon our arrival, and we greatly appreciated the beach towels available as well as all of the chairs, flotation devices, and beach umbrella. We took the umbrella and chairs to the beach with us each day and with the cart it was super easy to transport everything! Also, it was great to have a small cooler to use. We found it a bit unusual that you had to walk outside to go from the second to the third stories. While it was undercover, it was open to the outside. Would have preferred there was a lock to get into the staircase area from the outside. The youngest in our group was 16 so everyone was old enough for the layout but wouldn't have liked if we had younger children. Lots of steps to get into the main living areas on the second and third floors but that was fine for everyone in our group. Overall, it is a great property with lots of space and amenities and you can't beat the location!! We would definitely recommend!!!
