The following issues impacted our stay:- Communication and Check-in: I did not receive check-in details and had to find instructions myself. After a two-hour delay in receiving a text response, I remained locked out for 45 minutes upon my 5:00 PM arrival due to a broken door handle, I reached out to you via text through VRBO and also VRBO support was also unable to reach you during this time.- Maintenance Disturbance: A handyman scheduled for 4:00 PM arrived at 7:00 PM during dinner and stayed until 9:45 PM. He was also then accompanied by an unauthorized individual, which was unprofessional and disruptive.During this time a large pop went off in the house and the light had gone out.- Cleanliness and Condition: The property was not properly cleaned. Vents are covered in dust, with one showing signs of mold. There is visible water damage, cracked ceilings, stained towels, a broken refrigerator light, a loose kitchen sink, a running toilet, and an unstable ceiling fan.- Exterior Issues: The yard contained trash and debris, including a condom box at the front door bush, A dead iguana near the pool caused a foul odor, and dirty dishes from previous guests were left on the deck. Additionally, the front screen door is off its hinges and front door handle needs to be replaced, and there is no functional outdoor lighting.- Trash: We were unable to dispose of our trash upon checkout as the bins have been full since our arrival.

Great home! My family and I stayed from Friday to Sunday and it was just as posted. Great pool backyard up to a canal with a dock. The area was a nice perfect are off the main road with tons of things to do. Will visit again!

The property was fine, not one of the nicest we've stayed in but for the price point it was ok. The grill is broken. We bought propane for it, no reimbursement from the host, then when we went to hook it up, the inside of the grill was broken. The toilet in the guest bathroom leaks. There was nothing that made the house unliveable and it was fine.

Disappointed

Pool was green and foggy, no heater. Patio furniture dirty, bedroom lamps non functional. Water in pool beliw skimmer since arrival, ceiling fans filthy, doorwall handles and tracks filthy, NO water at all in main bathtub. Loved family time...great air conditioning, nice long table and good mattresses...fun fishing from back dock... We arrived on Friday and I reached out to host with concerns (and pics) on Sunday morning with no response... We arrived to property and was quite surprised by condition...older home, overgrown landscape and dead grass ripped/tattered enclosed porch screens at the entrance of the house...(nothing wrong with older home but needed repair, maintenance and serious deep cleaning) Host suggested 5 Star property and definately it was not...half of the ceiling fans did not work, minimal kitchenware, peeling pots and pans, no fire extinguisher under sink, old electrical wiring throughout the house, old and tattered linens (towels/kitchen towels)...chunk of kitchen cabinet needed repair...heading outside to pool area-two broken (and only) lounge chairs left poolside, mildewed outdoor furniture and cushions , broken Weber grill (could not be used) and I could go on... I could give it a 2.5 star rating but not an option...again, deep cleaning (inside and out), fresh paint, repairs and necessary replacements are necessary...There was a picture provided by the host with local information etc-and that picture placed at the front of the binder- looked nothing like the property...(picture reflected fresh paint and manicured/maintained yard)...

Loved Pompano Beach!

Property was clean upon arrival. Great pool and canal view was awesome. Newer modern furnishings. Great layout for the 2 couples in our group. Needs a little TLC but we would stay there again.

Perfect Waterfront Getaway

This was the perfect property for our weekend getaway. We brought our boat and docked it in the canal behind the house. There is a boat ramp about 5 min away, very easy to get to/from the house and plenty of parking space for the trailer in the driveway. The home was excellently furnished and equipped with all of the essentials. We absolutely loved the outdoor space with the pool and patio. The house is also beautifully landscaped, especially in the backyard. The host was quick to respond with a few questions we had over the weekend, we will definitely be coming back here for the excellent location and beautiful property. Thank you Robert!

My awesome get away

Before my stay Robert communicated very greatly. I spoke to him about accommodations and he looked out. The home is veeeeeery clean. He’s very respectful and his communication skills are on point. You’ll adore his property. The kitchen is all white so you have to be very clean using . Robert is awesome host, I’ll recommend his property most definitely and I’ll return just to get away. You won’t regret booking with Robert.

Delightful pool, covered patio, and landscaping

We enjoyed our stay at this large home with beautiful landscaping. We especially liked the pool and the covered outdoor patio overlooking the pool and the intercoastal waterway. The pool was well-maintained and the balance of chemicals seemed good. The mattress in the master bedroom was very comfortable and so was the living room couch. The air conditioning worked well. The house is in need of repairs and cosmetic maintenance.
