Overall, the stay was good. The room is what is expected at a high end hotel in Ft. Lauderdale. There was little to no communication on the check in process or check out process; the bell staff told us where to meet the representative (by the couches down the hall to the right of the main entrance - there is an entrance there too). As another review mentioned, this is a private rental, so some hotel amenities are not included. Some hotel staff are more helpful than others. When we arrived before check in time, one bell staff did take our luggage, but he is technically not allowed to. Housekeeping is included, but a couple of days were missed. The first time, we asked for towels and coffee and the staff assisting were lovely. The next time it was missed and coffee was requested, they did not send it up as we were staying in "a rental”. That said, I did not even know if housekeeping was included until I asked the host directly. If I had questions, the host did respond, but a welcome email with what to expect would be helpful. We also learned that two beach chairs are included in the stay. All things considered, I would stay again as it was about half of what the hotel cost would be. I did not notice an issue with the bed or a moldy shower. Overall, it is a nice room.
