SPECIAL RATE My Beach Retreat - 8 Guests - Hot Tub

OUTDOOR SPACE:
- Jacuzzi
- Private outdoor patio has BBQ, table and chairs, and chaise lounges.
-The patio has a stainless steel BBQ grill that uses propane and an outdoor dining area
(Propane tanks are available upon request for a $40 charge)

LIVING AREA:
- Formal dining room seats up to 6
- Oversized couch with a large TV.

KITCHEN: Fully stocked chef’s kitchen has all top-of-the-line appliances and features. Coffee machine, tea kettle, toaster, blender, Ice maker, cookware, glassware, dishwasher, refrigerator with filtered water dispenser, freezer, and microwave.

BEDROOMS: (3)
- 2 bedrooms in the main house and the cottage sleep 8 guests in comfortable beds. The 3, large bedrooms all have Smart TV's.
- Pac and Play and high chair on site.
- Premium Air mattress available for a $25 delivery fee.

BATHROOMS: (3)
All bathrooms are provided with a starter set of toiletries (TP, soap and shampoo) and plush towels. A hairdryer is also available.

INTERNET: Highspeed and wireless throughout.

GUEST ACCESS:
This fully fenced property is yours for your private enjoyment.
The personalized self-check-in instructions will be sent three days prior to arrival.

CLEANING:
- All of our properties are professionally cleaned and sanitized up to CDC guidelines and inspected before each stay to ensure your safety.
- Starter dishwasher pods are provided
- Washer and dryer with a starter set of laundry pods provided.

LOGISTICS:
- Check-in: 4:00 PM.
- Check-out: 11:00 AM.
- An early check-in or late check-out time may be available, please inquire about availability and pricing.

TV's: All of our TV's are Smart with access to log into your favorite streaming channels.

GARBAGE: We ask that you please put out any used garbage bins in the front of the driveway Sunday night and Wednesday night prior to collection. If you could please bring the bins back by the side of the house we would appreciate it. The city of Hollywood removes garbage every Monday and Thursday morning. We provide three garbage bins on the side of the house.

PARTIES & EVENTS: We do not allow parties, receptions or events. The home is located in a residential neighborhood and local ordinances dictate no excessively loud music or noise after 10 PM. This is our most important rule that can result in the termination of your reservation along with additional fees. If you have any questions regarding entertaining on the property please contact us.

PARKING: No free parking

PETS: Pets are permitted upon request, please note, there is a $120 pet sanitation fee per pet for the duration of your stay.

PERSONAL BELONGINGS: ValGal isn’t responsible for any package delivery or personal belongings left at the property after checkout.

Hollywood Beach Retreat
We stayed here for a week in late May, 2024. A couple of notes: - The location is exceptional. Very close to the boardwalk, the beach, and restaurants & shops. - Other reviews mentioned some loose flooring times. We didn't find that to be a big deal. - Getting in the front door can be a little tricky. Sometimes you have to enter the code a couple of times but you'll get in. - The house is clean and the decor is nice - The back casita is a great set-up. We brought our 2 teen girls and put one out back. She liked having her own space. - The back yard is small but quaint. Great spot to relax. - Pro-Tip: Buy the parking pass from the city before you go! We did not do that and parking can be expensive ($70-90/day). Our stay included Memorial Day weekend and there was no parking on the street where we were staying but there is a very large garage a few short blocks north of the property that we used that worked out fine. - The property is stocked with everything you'll need to cook and serve meals. Plan to bring everything you need food wise (coffee, condiments, etc...). - The property mgmt folks are great. - The neighborhood can be busy during the day (it's close to the beach...) but is very quiet and feels safe at night. Overall it was a great spot to stay.

Great Space & Location!
This was our 11th trip to Hollywood and our fourth time at a ValGal rental. It's by far the best home we've stayed in. The rental is an original bungalow that has been nicely updated. Superb location. It's at the far north end of the Broadwalk. Still easy to walk to businesses but doesn't get the crowds and noise from the busy middle drag. Only thing we heard at night was the sound of a coconut falling from one of the gorgeous old palm trees in the backyard. Each day we walked the few steps to the beach. Left our chairs there all day and came and went. Spent a lot of time in the backyard that has a table for 8 and a clean hot tub. Main home has a king bed separated with sliding floor to ceiling shutters. On each side of that space is a room with a single bed, one of which can be shut off entirely and has closets and a TV. The other is more of a day room in the from of the house. The back has a detached single room with a king bed, closet and full bathroom. Like a mother-in-law suite. Also remodeled recently. The rental agency was responsive the two times we needed to contact them: once for better instructions on how to get in and another time to reset the hot water. Again, I've rented from them in the past and they have a solid footprint in the area and care about their reputation and doing a good job.

Family vacation
The home was clean when we arrived. We initially had trouble using the front door lock but were able to figure it out. We traveled with an infant so it was great that they provided a pack and play and highchair. The listing is a little unclear in that the main house has 1 king bed and 2 twin beds. One of the twin beds is in its own room (picture not provided) and the cottage in the back has a king bed and a bathroom. There was no shampoo, conditioner, or body soap provided. We also had trouble connecting to the internet and could not get hot water on the last day of our trip but the property manager was quick to respond and able to help fix those problems quickly and easily. They also provided beach chairs and umbrellas which was another plus since we traveled with an infant. The location was great and we were able to walk to a variety of restaurants throughout the week. Overall we had a fun trip!

Fantastic location
The location could not be more perfect! Super convenient to both the beach & boardwalk. Nice, secluded patio. Loved the hot tub. Beautifully decorated home. There was some minor wear & tear that needed repair (loose fridge door handle, garbage disposal not working, non-working hair dryer, a couple non-working stove burners, difficulty using the dishwasher). Reaching property manager required a couple of tries, but they did get back to us. Despite those minor issues, the convenient location, great patio, & multiple beds would still make us return to & recommend this cute, little rental.

Girls Getaway
The house and location worked out great for our group of 4 ladies! We had a slight problem getting into the cottage and within 10 minutes the property manager was there and solved it! My only complaint was the floor tiles are not properly glued down and often came up and made noise in different areas throughout the house. Other than that - GREAT STAY!

Beatifull house
We tríed many times To talk To the property Mannager and she did not answer, until somebody did, and help them To get inside the house (they were not able To get in because they did not understad the password lock). The back yard was full of leaves and trees branches, the grill did not have gas, and there were no wine glasses. The house from the inside os beatifull and confortable! The decoración Just as they expected.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay due to the location next to the beach/boardwalk and the cleanliness of the home. Be warned that you will have to purchase a $120 parking pass from the city. The check in information indicates that the house comes with a parking pass however that is not the case. In several messages with the host, they were unclear about this and didn’t make the process easy.

All was good, except that the listing says that is includes parking next door. But when you check in they tell you that you must purchase a parking permit for $120. The property was nice, a few details need attention for repair, but didn't affect the trip significantly.

We picked this property to be easy walking distance to beach...which it certainly is. The place itself is quite nice...modern kitchen & appliances. Nice bathrooms. The internet, TV;s and AC all worked well / as expected. We were disappointed with what we hope were some inadvertent discrepancies with the description. The write up mentions (4) twin beds...there are only 2. The description fails to mention the fact that the 2nd king bed is in a detached unit in the backyard. Which isn't bad, unless you are a family with children...and you do not wish for your children to be in a completely different building than you when you sleep at night. The other discrepancy is how they described parking. The description mentions parking for 1 car "onsite". To me, that implies a dedicated parking spot...what it actually is, is a parking pass for the street. Which, being 1 block from the beach, doesn't always mean a parking spot. The unit itself looks nice...and is nice...except for the floor. The floor is tile and approx 50% of the tiles are loose and make noise when you walk on them. Not terrible, but not great either...especially at night or early morning when people are sleeping.
