Parrot Hall is a luxurious 8 bedroom 1930's "Old Florida" waterfront villa located in the exclusive Las Olas Isles that is restored to perfection. Gorgeous tropically landscaped resort style pool area, 18x36 heated salt water pool. Dine al fresco in the pool house. The property has 8 bedrooms, many with sitting areas and verandas. Expansive living and dining areas both inside and out High end finishes and furnishings and attention to detail make this property feel like a luxury boutique hotel. Walk to beach, fine dining and nightlife on charming Las Olas Blvd. This property is ideal for a group or family that seeks to share a spectacular property but still have wonderful separation and privacy. The dock will accommodate up to an 80 ft. yacht. Full shore power, deep water, no fixed bridges for easy ocean access. This is an entirely NON-SMOKING property.

Great property for our Thanksgiving holiday with family. The home has spacious bedrooms with plenty of bathrooms for large groups. We loved the tropical decor. This is a historical home that has its charm and also needs a few updates. We would definitely stay again.

Perfect Stay!

Our family had a wonderful stay at this vacation rental. The house is meticulously cleaned and stocked. There was not anything extra you could ask for. They have thought of every kitchen gadget and household need you can imagine. A major shout-out to the cleaners who maintain the home as it is immaculate! The house is large and full of character! It is sure to satisfy any group. Note that Fort Lauderdale has a noise curfew of 10 pm, which is no joke! We were using the pool around 10:30 pm on a Friday night at a very considerate volume, and sure enough, a neighbor called the city to complain. The officer was kind and agreed when he approached we were not being "too loud" so kindly just gave us a warning. The owners also reached out after being notified, and Bill was also kind and professional about the situation. I highly recommend this property for your vacation needs!

BEWARE!!! This is NOT a trustworthy place

My family booked this property months in advance to celebrate an 80th birthday. I messaged the property manager a week before checkin to ask a few questions and he confirmed everything. We booked flights for 14 people and flew in from all over the country and booked dinner reservations and activities for the whole weekend. Upon check in, we arrived at the house to find another party already there who apparently were granted access by the property manager to stay an extra night from the previous week. When we called the property manager he was not apologetic and blamed the fact that he uses 2 platforms to book the property. We contacted VRBO who also denied blame and offered to give us a credit to book another place up to 50% more . The problem was that it was spring break in Florida there were obviously NO other houses available to accommodate 14 people. We now had our whole family, standing in the backyard of this house with nowhere to go and the angry other party shooing us away. All of our food was melting in the cars, kids were crying, reservations were being missed and we lost a day of our vacation not to mention suffering through an incredibly stressful situation. Ultimately we found one property an hour away much shabbier and cheaper than the first. We got NO compensation nor support from VBRO. I blame this property manager but more VRBO. It’s on them to come down hard to make sure this doesn’t happen and to support clients better. Shame on both!

Wonderful Three Weeks Here

We had a lovely relaxing stay at Parrot House enjoying the spacious layout of this wonderful property, a very well equipped kitchen, a huge saltwater pool and plenty of bedrooms and baths, more than we used but I used one of them as my office. We had a few friends visit for a day or two and they all left saying how wonderful it was and how much they enjoyed it also. The hosts are so gracious, we had an easy check in and this property is in a great neighborhood. Wonderful walking streets and walkable to Las Olas shops and restaurants and the beach. Couldn’t’ have been happier!

Fun in the sun!

To start, William was really great to work with. He was super accommodating with our group and was easy to get in contact with. The house itself is beautiful. The beds are so comfortable, bathrooms are clean, and the pool was in great shape! With that, the house was extremely musky. I’m highlighting this in case anyone is a bit older or has allergies, at times it felt slightly unpleasant. Additionally, we did encounter quite a few cockroaches, this may just be the norm, but would rather warn other groups! Lastly, we did at home hibachi which was a blast, but got multiple noise complaints. Just giving this as a warning if you are going as a large group/ Bach party, this may not be the spot if you’re looking to do that type of event outside in the evening! (This was at 7pm for reference). Totally understand if things are disruptive to file a complaint, but it really didn’t feel too loud and was quite early. Overall, a really nice stay. The location to Las Olas is AMAZING! And we had a boat pick us up right from the dock which was amazing. I would recommend!

Awesome house on the Isles!

We had a fantastic stay at the Parrot House! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the neighborhood and the spaciousness of the home - so many bedrooms for everyone to spread out!! The location is unbeatable, nestled in a serene area yet super close to Las Olas and the beach. The house itself is stunning and well-maintained, with plenty of room for our group of 10, everyone got to have their own room. We loved the well-stocked kitchen, which had every appliance, utensil and dish that we needed. The pool and backyard was a highlight of our stay, providing the perfect spot for everyone to hang out together. Bill, the host, was incredibly helpful and responsive, making our stay even more enjoyable. We highly recommend the Parrot House and would definitely stay here again!

Best house off of Las Olas

Seven moms and seven kids rented this wonderful house last week. It’s within a mile walking to the beach and 1 mile to the cute shopping district of Fort Lauderdale. The house is huge and slept the 14 of us very, very comfortably. The pool is amazing….So nice to be right on the canal! we will recommend this to all of our friends back home! LOVED IT!

The home was beautiful and spacious, as depicted on the listing. The location is unbeatable being conveniently situated near Las Olas and the beach, but tucked away on a beautiful neighborhood street. The home is well equipped with typical household appliances and items for convenience and the host Bill was helpful and responsive answering questions.

A perfect get-away

This was a superbly furnished house in a convenient neighborhood. Its position above a canal and in walking distance of beaches and shops gave us both lovely views and access to many options for fun. Parrot Hill was the most elegant rental house we've ever stayed in, but not preciously so - it is both handsome and very comfortable. Its many bedrooms and sitting areas meant we were never on top of each other. The first floor's indoor and outdoor spaces relate to each other exceptionally well, balancing scale with flow for a large group. The kitchen was equipped with everything we or a private chef would need, from equipment to china, for a large group meal.

Great Place for an extended family reunion

The house was perfect for a big extended family group. Kitchen was amazingly well stocked. Location is perfect not far from beach and the shopping and restaurants on Los Olas in a beautiful neighborhood. Although the house was great for a big group like ours (8 adults and 8 "kids" in their early 20's) the decor is a bit tired and the house is a bit worn. But it's large and clean and the backyard pool area is really nice.

Pretty property with shrieking AC

Stayed at this canal-front property for 4 nights with a group of 9 friends. I wish there was a 4.5 rating. Pros: We loved the beautiful pool area! Kitchen is very well stocked (with the exception of salt and pepper.) Art hanging through the house is eclectic and fun! Many places to gather. House is conveniently located for restaurants/shopping and beach. We were able to walk every morning. Cons: The air conditioning condenser emitted a loud shrieking noise every time it cycled (about 2x per hour). Several in our group were disturbed by it through the night. We were told there “is no cure.” Lesson learned: Don’t put any light sleepers at the end of the hall upstairs! The “bedroom” with two twin beds is actually adjoined with another bedroom with a queen bed as all one suite. This isn’t super clear in the listing. As a group of all adults, we had to switch people around when we arrived so everyone had privacy. Other minor issue was several lightbulbs out in different parts of the house; there were no replacements available or offered. I would stay in this property again— especially if I could sleep in the downstairs primary bedroom.

Gorgeous, roomy and pristine home!

This is a beautifully decorated home that had everything you would need for a relaxing vacation. Impeccably clean, "Old Florida" styled home, quiet street and very comfortable for our party of nine women. Very close to beach and fantastic restaurants. We loved the pool and spent most of our time there.

Great getaway in FL!

Property is great with a ton of bedrooms and bathrooms. Checkin and checkout was a breeze and the backyard with the pool and dock is amazing! It was great that there were so many towels provided and that all the bathrooms were stocked with soap, shampoo, etc..
