My stay at the Harrison Hotel was extremely disappointing and unsafe for my family. From the moment we arrived, I reported several serious issues that were never addressed by the hotel staff.
The guests in the room next to ours were smoking marijuana late at night and again early in the morning. I immediately informed the front desk, especially because I was traveling with my 11-year-old daughter, yet the hotel did absolutely nothing. We even found cigarette butts in front of our door, which clearly shows a lack of hygiene and supervision.
The room conditions were unacceptable: dirty sheets, unpleasant odors, and poor overall cleanliness and maintenance. Despite reporting everything multiple times, the staff showed complete indifference and provided no support.
On top of this, the hotel charged a higher amount than the rate shown in my reservation, and at no point did they offer a clear explanation or solution. Their constant response was to tell me to “deal with Expedia,” even for issues that were clearly their responsibility as the property.
Due to all these problems, I was forced to leave the hotel to protect the health and safety of my family and had to pay for another place to stay. This was stressful, unexpected, and completely contrary to what was advertised.
I strongly discourage anyone from booking this hotel through Expedia. The negligence, lack of cleanliness, unsafe environment, and lack of accountability from the property make it a highly unreliable option.
