Trust worthy hostess

We really enjoyed our stay. One of our group members left a very important item at this house and the hostess and staff went out of their way to get it back to us. I can’t say enough about how much that meant to us. We really enjoyed the pool and the outdoor space. The kitchen was fully stocked with all of our needs. I would just recommend a fresh coat of paint to make the house a bit more updated. We also removed some air fresheners because they were a bit strong. Overall a great stay and we really enjoyed it.

Great place to stay before cruise

We stayed here before our cruise and the kids loved playing in the pool! We used the grill that was in the backyard to cook a dinner. We found a gym within blocks to go use and the Walmart is nearby! Worked great for what we needed

Okay, aber mit Abstrichen

Das Haus ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man benötigt. Duschbad und Seifen waren für uns vorhanden, was sehr angenehm war. Auch in der Küche standen eine Flasche Wein und ein paar kleine Tüten Chips für uns bereit. Leider entsprachen die Bilder nicht der Realität. Auf den Bildern sieht alles sehr modern und sauber aus, doch leider ist die Einrichtung dringend renovierungsbedürftig. Alles ist alt und es wirkte modrig. Auch die Terrasse und der Poolbereich sollten dringend renoviert werden.

Pleasant Enough

The neighborhood is well kept. The pool was nice and heated for us. The kitchen had most of what we needed. The beds were decent. The house itself felt cluttered and dirty and very in need of updates. The floors and kitchen were clean but the walls and ceilings were disgusting and in desperate need of a fresh coat of paint and drywall repair. There were 20 air fresheners and wax fresheners in the house. We had to go in a scavenger hunt to put them outside because the strength of them left us not feeling good. Overall the neighborhood and outdoor space were nice but the home could use some re-investment and de cluttering.

Great place to call home for a few days!

We really enjoyed the pool and outdoor space. Bedrooms and living areas were great. Kitchen was slightly under stocked and would have expected it to have the basics like at a hotel (ie: regular coffee, tea and creamer… there were only flavoured available in the house). We arrived late at night, so we had to make do until we could go shopping. We also needed a cookie sheet to prep our supper, which was not available. Aluminum foil and plastic wrap or ziplock baggies would be handy in a kitchen. However, there was a bottle of wine and a water bottle for each of the 8 of us, as well as a few packs of snack sized chips… this was absolutely lovely and appreciated after a long day of flying. Shampoos and soaps were available for our use which was great. A hair dryer would be good, as those that need one don’t typically travel with them as they are available at hotels and on cruise ships. The only real negative thing we encountered was the sleeping arrangements. We are a group of 8, but only 2 couples. 2 were sisters who planned to sleep in the same bed, and that was fine. The last 2 are an 80 year old uncle and his 65 year old niece. We planned that the 80 year old would sleep in the remaining bed, and the 65 year old would sleep on the sofa bed. When we asked the owner where the bedding was, they answered by saying that we only registered 8 guests, so there was no extra bedding in the house. Small but worked for 5 people.

Property was not as expected in photos. Need some updating in the kitchen and pool area. Water pressure could be looked at. When you’re using one bathroom with hot water, the other bathroom is cold. The floors were filthy, dirty. Turned our socks, black and our feet. You can’t see it but after walking across the floors for about two minutes, your feet are black. Positive things about this house are the beds are fabulous. The pool was heated and felt amazing. The kitchen was equipped with a lot of appliances that worked. The welcoming wine and snacks were greatly appreciated. The bathroom was equipped with lotion, soap, shampoo, toothpaste, which was very nice too.
