Come to your private retreat from your hectic life

My X partner and I are in the heart of Oakland Park Florida. Our location is within walking distance to Wilton Manors and we are within minutes from the beach from our location. We have a Tropical setting with a private garden with a security gate with plenty of parking. We are 11 miles from the Fort Lauderdale International airport. There are many unique dining location near by and the Funky Buddha brewery is within walking distance from our location. Owner resides on the property.
The space
You have a spacious private room which is more than comfortable to help you relax on your vacation in lush setting
Other things to note
Sorry at this time our listing is not accepting any pets or service animals thanks. And we have a new quiet AC split which is very comfortable and different from the Wallbanger from before.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this property! From the moment we arrived, it was clear that the host puts a lot of heart into maintaining the home. Everything was spotless, beautifully decorated, and equipped with all the amenities we could possibly need.The host was truly exceptional—incredibly responsive, welcoming, and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. It’s rare to find a place where everything is 'just right,' but this was it. We left feeling refreshed and can’t wait to book another stay here in the future. Highly recommended!

Perfect place to stay right in the middle of Ft. Lauderdale. Cute cozy room with a small kitchenette and a big comfy bed. Communication with the owners was super easy. Make sure you have the VRBO app for communication and messaging between yourself and the owners. Will stay again.

Relaxing!

First time in South Florida for a wedding. Very private, great location, and very affordable compared to more area hotels. The next time I visit, I will be sure to stay here again.

Listing not as advertised

The place was clean and the garden area was interesting. That was about it. The listing indicates 2 beds and 1 bedroom. This is a studio with 1 bed. Location is average at best with roosters close by making noise every morning. If you want to be near the beach youll need to travel 15-20min and pay for parking. A few decent restaurants within walking distance, but nothing special.

Great place for a little getaway

Peaceful garden, perfect space with everything we needed, super clean, close to great ethnic restaurants and beaches, very safe (even were I to be traveling as a solo chick;)

Our stay was absolutely perfect. The home was clean and comfy. The outside was exceptionally appealing, as my boyfriend and I both love plant life. It was like having a private botanical garden right outside. We wouldHope to stay again next year, if it is available.

A Real Gem

Really worth the price of admission, a 5 star Vrbo experience. Very spaceous, clean and comfortable. Loved the garden entrance. Jim was great! Would definitely stay there again.

Tranquil and Clean!

Beautiful Topical Garden

We will be back. My husband and I had a wonderful stay. Everything we needed and 4 blocks from where my husband's mom is staying. Half a block from a neighborhood park. The side garden outside our door was fabulously tropical with orchids, stag horn ferns engulfing a tree, and many beautiful blooming flowers I'd never seen before. Perry was so welcoming. The bed was comfy. There was coffee for breakfast.

There isn't another place we would want to stay when visiting the area. We have everything we need. The garden.... Love it! The hosts are so very kind and friendly while providing privacy. We always feel perfectly safe and everything is near by

Luxury Hotel Quality

We were amazed from the moment we entered the gate! The landscape of the garden, the detail and cleanliness of the unit, the safety of the neighborhood was well worth the price! I had work to do online but was not able to access the info for the wifi because the renter did not include the wifi name just the pass code. I tried many to no avail. I texted him, messaged him, and two hours later still had no response. So I had to knock on his door to get it. Otherwise, he seemed pleasant enough but also like I was inconveniencing him to be there.

Home away from Home

It was like staying at home. The minute I walked in through the gate I felt comfortable. The bed was super comfy, everything was very clean. The furniture was comfortable and enough. Perry and James are a delight to deal with and that garden, what a blessing to enjoy. Made my stay even better. I will stay here again, no need to look any further. Oh, and communication with Perry & James was excellent. Thank you so much for your hospitality.
