Thoughtfully equipped for a relaxing getaway, the home features a large private yard and a covered patio ideal for grilling, dining al fresco, and enjoying the Florida sunshine. Situated adjacent to all the happenings on popular Wilton Drive in Wilton Manors, and minutes from trendy Las Olas Boulevard, downtown Fort Lauderdale, and the world-famous Fort Lauderdale Beach. The house was perfect for a friend's trip. Thoughtfully stocked with everything you could need and more. The peacocks that roam the neighborhood were an unexpected bonus. The host went above and beyond to return an item that was left. Would definitely stay here again.

Amazing Peacock House

Beautiful house, nicely decorated and ample amenities. Great big backyard. And a pride of peacocks to greet you daily. Communication with owners was quick & clear. Looking forward to returning.

Great House-fully stocked!

The house was clean and well stocked with anything you may need. Richard was responsive and helpful. We loved the backyard and enjoyed our stay. The house was convenient to downtown, beaches and grocery stores. We loved the beautiful peacocks that were frequent guests in the the front yard.

Outstanding property

Our stay at this property was probably one of the best rentals we have ever stayed at. The attention to detail was unbelievable. The house was extremely clean and well stocked. We normally bring everything we need, but this house had everything such as a fully stocked kitchen with plates, pots and pans, silverware, cleaning products, tons of towels, a water dispenser, washer and dryer along with the detergents, and there was a gas grill in the back yard with a bin with outdoor games such as badminton. The neighborhood is close to the major highways and there are many food options nearby. Our host, Richard was very responsive to any questions that we had. I didn't know how I would feel about the Peacocks but we didn't have any problem with them and they did not make any noise at night. Overall, we were very happy with this stay and look forward to renting this house again in the future. 5 Stars

Work "get away"

We enjoyed our stay, but we worked most of th time. The house is very well stocked. But the bedrooms are small.. The beds were very comfortable. There is room enough for 2 cars. And the only problem I had was the lights in the backyard stayed on all night which made it hard for me to sleep.

Nice stay in a quiet home

We enjoyed our stay. The house has everthing you need, from furniture to salt and pepper. We stayed with three adults, one teenager snd one child and used it as a base to explore Miami and Fort Lauderdale.

Post cruise stay

We stayed five days at the end of a cruise to enjoy the Florida weather and do some local sightseeing. Richard has the house stocked with essentials as well as some extra touches such as a bottle of wine, snacks, microwave popcorn, etc., all very much appreciated. We loved the back yard and all the peacocks roaming the neighborhood. We would definitely stay here again if we were in the area.

Fantastic Time very comfortable

Just to let everyone know that this place was fantastic very clean and very comfortable. The owner was very pleasant and easy to deal with. I would recommend staying there as there is entertainment every morning with the peacocks and roster in the street across the road. We had a fantastic time there just chilling out.

Our new favorite in Fort Lauderdale

This home was perfect for us. The host’s attention to detail was superb. I’m a host myself and came away with some new ideas. Complete kitchen with everything you can imagine. Comfortable beds. Very quiet neighborhood. Huge backyard. The 3rd bedroom was a perfect setup to use as an office. Spotlessly clean. The best place we’ve stayed in the area by far.

Delightful stay!

Great little house packed with useful amenities ...from coffepots, ice, plenty of plates and glasses, several seating areas both in- and outside, and comfy beds. The neighborhood peahens and peacocks visiting added to our delight. Parking was easy and convenient and the location was convenient to every place we visited. Would love to visit again

We had such a great time! The check in process was super easy and when we arrived (which was super late) they had snacks and drinks waiting on us. The house was super cute, clean, recently updated, and had everything we needed for our stay. The location was great, just a few minutes from the beach. Definitely a great experience.

The BEST VRBO we have stayed at!

The home is well cared for and very clean and neat. They thought of everything you could possibly need for your stay, even extra extension cord and power strips. We stocked kitchen with toaster and two kinds of coffee makers. Beds were comfy and the living room has plenty of seating and two people could sleep there if needed. The location is just a short drive to most anything and anyplace you want to go. They even have about 20 peacocks that roam the neighborhood. We highly recommend the Peacock Place when staying in Fort Lauderdale.
