An old Florida apartment that has been updated with a new kitchen. Very clean. Kitchen equipped for cooking! Central air conditioning! Walk to Whole Foods. Starbucks, Trader Joe's, and many restaurants are a very short drive away.

IMPORTANT: Floors are terrazzo (cold, like polished cement). The TV gets limited local channels but no cable.

Kitchen: The Kitchen is equipped for real cooking. There are sharp knives and non-stick pots and pans.

Wi-Fi: two internet connections (AT&T and Comcast) provide redundancy. Both are the highest residential speeds available. Stream 4K movies or do video calls.

Parking is not assigned, but there is plenty of room for two cars.

Laundry: You can also use the coin-operated washer and dryer, which are shared with other units.

Babies: every unit has a crib, and a highchair is available on request.

Beach gear: we provide beach towels, beach chairs, umbrellas, and a cooler.

There is are a coin-operated washer and dryer at the end of the building.

The TV gets local channels only. It is a Smart TV, so you can access Netflix, HBO or other streaming services. (Smart TV, no cable)

The coin-operated washer and dryer are sometimes used by guests from other units.

Ducks: we have a lot of them in the neighborhood. Some people think they are cute. Some people don't like the "droppings". We pressure wash monthly, but if you book here, you need to be prepared for ducks.

Bugs are a constant battle in Florida. You may encounter some during your stay. We exterminate using traps, bait, sprays, and fumigation. There is bug spray on the top shelf in the kitchen cabinet furthest from the sink. If you need us to come and exterminate, we can send someone Monday through Saturday (Sundays are more difficult).

Lovely Time in Fort Lauderdale

Very clean and thoughtfully equipped and laid out. Huge desk with lamp to work on or use as a makeup table. Multiple plugs and chargers throughout. The bed was comfortable and the AC was perfect. It was very helpful to have a detailed binder of recommendations on restaurants, beach’s, etc. Very quiet neighborhood with a laundromat a few doors down and many bars, restaurants, and cafes very close. All the essential stores are within 5 minutes too-Target, Whole Foods, Publix, Walgreens. Architecture in this neighborhood is very cute MCM and many ducks have taken up residence too. I would definitely come back.

Great vacation spot

We really enjoyed our stay, great location, close to all services and amenities. We found the appartment as shown on the advertisement and were impressed by the quality of the furnishing. As an added bonus, we found the table nicely set with a good bottle of wine, compliment of the owner, a very nice welcoming gesture. The owner, Matthew was very attentive to all our request and made sure that everything went well. Unfortunately we had to shorten our stay due to the coronavirus and return home 2 weeks ahead of schedule. We would definetely recommend this place to everyone.

Great value

The unit was bigger than expected, well stocked with kitchen utensils, pots and pans, etc. (though I didn’t cook). Overall comfortable and clean. Good parking and only 2 blocks to jump on US1. There’s a stray momma cat with 5 kittens outside that I fed.

Very pleasant!!!

The place is adorable. A little cozy nest with everything you need. Clean, well-decorated and well-located. It's best to have a car though. The little outside sitting area is nice for a morning coffee facing a beautiful palm tree that's caressing the bushes underneath it. I would definitely go back. I would suggest adding a note for longer stays about where the extra bed sheets and towels are...We kinda used the same ones for almost the entire stay until our last day when we happily found the clean sheets and towels when checking all drawers to make sure we didn't forget anything. So, we had a last night in clean and soft sheets and used fresh towels on our last day :)))). I know I'll be back!!! Thanks Matthew!

Loved it!

This place was awesome. Great location, very clean, strong wifi and had a fully functional kitchen! It was just what my family needed. Matthew was a breath of fresh air, very responsive and resourceful. We definitely recommend staying here.

A very comfortable stay at good location.

Our stay was everything we expected. The apartment was clean and with all the amenities we needed and great location as well. Host was very responisive if we needed something. Recommend this stay highly and will definetly stay there again.
