"We really enjoyed our stay at Beland Mansion! The Blue Jay room was cozy and comfortable, with a very comfortable bed and a relaxing whirlpool tub that made our stay even better. The mansion has so many thoughtful touches, including multiple coffee bars stocked with Keurig machines and pods, which we loved. "The man that worked in the evening was super nice. & helpful.. the AC in room 127 did NOT work, the housekeepers gave me towels 2 put in the floor 2 soak up the water that was pouring out of it, the bed was hard as a rock. We normally stay there every year on memorial weekend but we will be going down the road from now on.. definatly NOT worth the $$"

"The room was very clean, but the carpet was frayed. We had trouble getting the tv to work due to connectivity. My biggest complaint that it was Memorial Day and the pool wasn’t open yet- disappointing to my kid. That was the reason we chose that hotel-so he could swim."

"Room was fairly clean, although there was an empty soda can on the floor behind the microwave/ fridge cabinet, and empty candy bar wrappers under the bed. Good A/C, clean beds. Smelly (chemicals) easy chair. No hand soap for the bathroom. Carpets needed cleaning. They would not turn the A/C on for the exercise/ weight room - so it was 80+ degrees! Too hot to work out for both days I stayed. Temps outside approached 90. A dog in the room next to me yapped and barked continually as if it was...

"The room smelled like mildew REALLY BADLY. The chairs in the room were worn and the entire room/hotel has potential but REALLY needs a facelift. Staff was nice. Ok for a quick stay but the mildew smell was SO terrible that we wouldn't consider it again."
