Completed in August 2017, Walnut Grove Cabin offers the peace and tranquility of a time gone by, yet with all the modern conveniences of today. The cabin is located 15 minutes from beautiful Lake Lure and Chimney Rock State Park, 30 minutes from Tryon International Equestrian Center, and approximately 60 minutes from Asheville and Hendersonville.

Walnut Grove Cabin consists of an airy full kitchen with stainless steel appliances, cozy bedroom with comfortable king size bed, a futon and two relaxing porches (one is screened-in!). Amenities include double closet in bedroom with additional storage, wi-fi, two TVs with DIRECTV, a cordless phone, and a paved driveway with carport. Towels and linens are furnished. Free coffee, hot tea and hot chocolate.

During the day, enjoy the solitude and quiet of pastoral views. At night, partake in the warmth and glow of the firepit (firewood is cut and readily available). If you feel the need to be part of the hustle-and-bustle, Asheville is only a drive away!

Tranquility! This cabin and setting is so peaceful and serene! Was also impressed with the cleanliness of this cabin as well as the professional landscaping. Close enough to restaurants and other activities yet still secluded for peace and relaxation! Justin was very easy to work with and went over and above to make sure we enjoyed our stay! Already planning a return stay for the fall! Highly recommend! Doug

A Peaceful Slice of Paradise

We fell in love with this cozy little cabin from the moment we drove up. We enjoyed coffee on the screened in porch as we watched the cows roam the fields beyond the cabin and the horses prance across the road. It's very private yet close to the beautiful attractions this area offers. One of the most enjoyable escapes we've had in a long time. We hated to leave!!

Home away form Home

We use this great little place to visit family in the area. It is a treasure for us as I am sure you would find the same. It is very well maintained, and has all the amenities you could ask for. The beautiful large oak trees that provide wooden swings that todays kids seldom see, to the livestock in the fields behind. It is a great place to stay when you need a getaway. Thatnks for providing such an awesome place to stay when we need a Home away from Home!

Perfect in every way.

For us, Oak Grove Cabin is perfect in every way. The location is 5 miles from family. Perfect! The home is exactly the right size for us. Perfect! There is nothing missing or not thought of. Perfect! The yard is as well kept as the home. Perfect! Very well thought out. Everything about this place is well thought out. Nice cookware, nice linens, and the place is spotless. It certainly does not look like it is in a rental program. It will certainly be our go to for future visits to family.

Clean, cute, cozy

I am always weary to stay at places that allows dogs because of my allergies and asthma. I can say this is the cleanest I have ever stayed, whether being a hotel or a Vrbo without pets. I did not see a speck of dust, hair, nothing. The checkin and checkout process was easy, the house was situated in a nice quiet and picturesque setting. We enjoyed seeing cows and horses roam in nearby property. We were very impressed and I hope you have us back in the near future. Thank you for everything.

Our 3rd fabulous stay..

This was our third stay here and it won’t be our, as long as Mr. Boone will allow us to stay again. The cabin is small but feels large because of the high ceilings. During every stay it has always been immaculately clean. We love the property, the quiet neighborhood, and the location. The only thing we don’t like is that some of past guest that have stayed since our last stay have unnecessarily caused some damage to Mr. Boone’s home. By no means does any of the damage interfere with the quality of your stay, and I know Mr. Boone will repair everything in a timely manner. I just hope that future guest who stay will respect the property as we do and leave the cabin the way they find it. Thank you, Mr. Boone for allowing us to stay in your cabin again! We love it there and hope to return soon.
