After our walks, the hanging chairs on the front porch were a dream to hang out in with a cool drink and my Nintendo Switch. "The property was beautiful and on good days we could even see the mountains in the background. The antiques in the property were lovely and the house was very clean and spacious. We enjoyed the town of Rutherfordton even if it was small. The shops were fun and the food was good. Over all we had a great vacation in a wonderful location."

Very close to the Tryon International Equestrian Center. The old updated municipal center made for a very interesting Inn and a nice tour by Mary, the Inn Keeper. "Bed was comfortable and service was good. Some guests across the way were up late working on a vehicle and other guests were arguing loudly a couple doors down. Fortunately it all stopped by midnight and I was able to drown out the noise in the meantime by keeping the fan on and the TV on low. Other than some rude guests, the room was clean, had everything I needed, and I did get plenty of sleep for field work the following morining."
