The Folly Jewel - Sleeps 6

New floors, freshly upgraded and painted. Kitchen, bath, king and queen beds, outdoor seating will make your trip a pleasant experience for all. The downstairs includes kitchen, dining, and living room with fold out queen couch. The upstairs is a king bedroom with a hall bath and another room with queen bed. There is a private entry. The outdoor area includes a patio with table, chairs, umbrella and gas grill - it is not shared with other apartments. This is a townhouse unit in a building that has three apartments. Please note that this is an remodeled older house and the stairway to upstairs is narrow. Also supplied is a shared outdoor shower area to rinse sand and salt after beach day!

It is located at the 7th street beach walkover for quick and easy beach access, less than a football field walk. Only a six block walk into town for dining and great entertainment, shops, rentals and pier.

WE ARE PET FRIENDLY! PLEASE SELECT THE "PET" BUTTON. Maximum 2 dogs and we do not accept cats, birds or other animals. The pet fee is $95.00 plus tax and covers both dogs. Please let us know the breed and weight of your dog upon booking. Guest should prevent pets from producing excessive noise at a level that disturbs neighbors. Pet will not be left unattended for an undue length of time, either indoors or outside which includes balcony, patio, or porch as applicable.

**NOTE: This property is in a residential community and Folly Beach has a strict noise ordinance violation rule. Simply respect your neighbors, keep the noise down, which includes dogs if applicable.

This rental is not licensed for "EVENTS." House parties, bachelor(ette), weddings, functions, events, bands, DJs, etc., are prohibited. Gatherings should not exceed the maximum occupancy of this rental. Overnight guests strictly limited to maximum occupancy of this rental.

We are pet friendly with a pet fee - max two dogs (only). If the dog’s weight is over 50 pounds, contact us for approval.

We provide beach chairs and beach towels - Anything left on the beach overnight will be removed by beach patrol. – You will be charged for chair replacement. Fill any holes in the sand each evening so that people and turtles are safe.

This really was a jewel at Folly! Incredible location for the perfect accommodation for our moms and kids beach trip. Somehow this sweet little place didn’t feel little at all to us and it was comfortably stocked. Host was close on hand if we ever needed anything (we didn’t but it was good to know!). We’re already dreaming about our next stay at the Jewel!

The house was a good size for a family of four and in perfect proximity to the beach. It was well stocked with kitchen essentials and we were able to cook several meals, saving quite a bit of money. Parking was a little frustrating at times. While you have a dedicated off street parking spot, there were times when someone blocked us in or out. The public parking right out the front door was also inconvenient at times but really wasn't a big deal. Overall, we were happy with our stay and would stay here again if we returned.

Great location!

What a perfect spot for a quick beach get-away! It is right across the street from a public access. As a rare bonus, they also have beach chairs and towels for guests! The host was EXTREMELY responsive and accommodating. One of the ACs went out early morning and by that afternoon it was replaced! Awesome little spot!

Grandparent trip

We brought our 14 year old granddaughter here. She wanted to learn to surf, learn some history and zip line. We did all plus more. We all love the ocean and walked piut our door, crossed the street and there it was. Great location. Everythng was clean and very nice. We had what we needed in the kitchen and plenty of towels and great beds. Hostesses was great and got back to us very quickly on questions we had. Great way to.experience Charleston and Folly Beach.

This unit is literally across the street from the 7th street access, which can't be beat. It was clean, dog friendly, and affordable. The owner, Alicia, was incredibly responsive and friendly.

Fantastic place

Myself and my two young adult children stayed at the Folly Jewel for three nights. It was fantastic! For me it was the perfect combination of proximity to the beach (about 600 steps from the unit to the ocean water) and cost. There is guarenteed parking. The beautiful ocean cottage decorated unit is nice and clean. It is an older building, but the window ac units kept it comfortable and it is well maintained. I love the location, close to ocean and easy walking to all the fun of the Folly Beach area. When you get back, I love the outdoor shower for cleaning off sand. The host was perfect combination of letting you know she was available and responsive to any requests, yet let us have out fun. If I ever get back to Folly beach, I will definately look this place up again.
