This light-filled, classic beach house steps away from the sand includes bead-board ceilings, pine floors, and quartzite countertops. You’ll sleep carefree on new mattresses, fall out of bed onto the beach, shower outside before lunch on the covered deck, grill dinner in the entertainment area under the house, and watch the sunset over the marsh from the front room. You’re bound to enjoy your stay in this stylish retreat! When mealtime comes, prepare culinary masterpieces in the well-equipped kitchen with upgraded appliances!

During your stay, take advantage of the many outdoor activities offered on the island including fishing, surfing, biking, kayaking, boating, and much more. Sign up at the local rental shops for surfing or paddle boarding lessons. Shopping, restaurants, and bars are located on Center Street (just two and a half miles away). A short drive (just under 13 miles) will take you to downtown Charleston, where you can enjoy shopping, fine dining and local historic tours.

Quiet and Comfortable Retreat

We were looking for a place to stay on the beach for a couple nights in March. This was the perfect location. It's a couple miles down the road from the hustle and bustle but just a golf cart right away! We had our own beachfront, a lovely screened in porch. The rooms were comfortable and cute. The place was very clean and had all the amenities needed for our family to relax, play games, prepare meals and rest easy!

Wonderful Rental

We absolutely loved our first visit to Folly Beach and this rental is Amazing! Perfect view, location, clean, all the things you need. We hope to rent this home each year! The only thing is we wish we could have brought our Shihtzu and the grill needs replaced.

Beach, beach, beach

If you want to be close to the ocean, this is your spot! Literally steps to the beach. But, if you want an adorable beach house that’s super cozy, this is also your spot. Home is so personally decorated with lots of character. Beds are super comfy, kitchen is well stocked and the room set up was perfect for us! The upstairs room is a dream! It feels like you’re on an island. We had an issue with the water when we arrived but they sent someone right away to take care of it! Communication was a little weird since it’s run by a company but they were very responsive! There are lots of steps to get into the place so keep that in mind and also lots of weekend traffic on and off the island. But great proximity to Charleston and fun area on Folly Beach with lots of restaurants and bars within a 5 min drive. Great spot all around!!

Family stay at the beach house

The property is beautiful and right on the beach. At high tide the water comes up to the stairs which is very cool and a bit scary at the same time. Low tide you can enjoy a walk on the packed sand. Each bedroom has a separate bathroom which is nice for all getting ready at the same time. The additional upstairs bedroom suite worked well for quarantining the guests who caught COVID on the airplane. They still enjoyed the views from the upper level! I am not happy about the additional $498 surprise charge from VRBO just for using your booking App. Buyer beware!

Folly Beach Paradise

Next Stop Morocco was perfect for our group of 5 adults. We stayed for one week. The home is just like as it is advertised. Being right on the beach, we enjoyed sunrise and moonrise. We all enjoyed the back porch (screened) very much! The house was clean and ready for us at checkin. We all had a great time and would return.

The first VRBO experience that 100% met expectations

Honestly, stop reading and book this place. Beautifully maintained, guest focused, and located in a unique and prime spot. The pictures had me a little concerned that we wouldn’t be right on the beach because apparently there are many definitions of that. Ha! When this says oceanfront, it means walk out the slider, turn left and go down the recently replaced stairway to the beach. 20ish stairs? Nothing excessive. At high tide, the water is steps away from the last stair. But it gets better. The beach is flat and not a prime access point in the area. You can wade out well over 100 feet and not get past your waist (depending on your height). We used a chair rental service and found our chairs and umbrellas set up for us when we were ready to roll. After the beach, use the hot and cold water shower on your private deck to wash off. Location is easily reached and not grid locked as other areas of the island can be. The house has many perks that you simply don’t find elsewhere. A Bosch dishwasher gets the plates and utensils clean and there are plenty of plates, glasses, etc to go around. Two things to be aware of and not a big deal. First, common seating space in the tv area is limited. Enough spaces available but everyone is sitting vs sprawling. Second, there isn’t a ton of space to store food in the kitchen or we missed it. The laundry off the main bath has storage you can use too. Lots of storage in the upper bedroom. This was simply an amazing rental. Any issues that existed have been addressed. Beds were very comfortable, NICE linens, all the lights worked and the ceiling fans were prettt awesome. The heat index exceeded 100 several days during our visit and the house remained cool. Go. Enjoy!

The place we stayed was good on location. People do need to know that it sways when you do the laundry and when there are strong winds. Also it would be good if the had offered instructions on where to go if there are severe storms or tonadl warnings. We had / nights where we were iunder tornado warnings.

Great Beach Front Property

This was just right for 3 couples. We enjoyed our stay and appreciated the ocean front view. The house was right on the beach and a great location for daily beach walks. Very nice decor and nice upgrades. The upstairs main bedroom is a dream. The only downside is the small size of the living area. The house is narrow making living area a little tight. Overall, though, it was a great long weekend, and we would definitely go again.

Fantastic Stay

This place was perfect, the beach access great and the view beautiful. Great place to stay right at the ocean! We needed a minor faucet repair and they were attentive and sent someone to fix it right away.
