  • The perfect screened in back porch for your morning coffee or afternoon cocktail, listening to the birds and the ocean creates a tropical oasis. Short walk to beach and lively center street with lot's of fun beach themed bars and restaurants. This property is the perfect beach get away for 2 families, 3 couples or a group of friends. It is nestled in the quite neighborhood streets on the West Side of Folly. This home is new to the rental market! It is newly renovated and furnished with a modern Boho theme. This home is extremely clean, well stocked kitchen, beach towels and chairs provided. Large fenced back yard with a swing, open deck with grill, downstairs hangout area, spacious eat in kitchen which seats 8, breakfast bar seating for 2, multiple hang out areas, living room has a 70 inch UHD TV with surround sound, spacious master bedroom and bath with jetted tub, comfortable queen bed room, fun bunk room for kids or adults which sleeps 4 comfortably, 2 full bathrooms and new outdoor rain shower to wash the sand off after a fun filled day on the beach. This comfortable beach house will have you coming back year after year! 15 min drive to Historic Downtown Charleston and 30 mins to the airport.

This is a lovely place that was fantastically located- we walked to the beach and to restaurants easily each day. The air conditioning was also wonderful when it is so hot outside. We would return in a heartbeat!

Great location close to town and the beach. Nice sized rooms for the 6 of us (though the bunk bed definitely needs a bit of help as it seemed very shaky). Nice layout and great outdoor space. Kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, plates and utensils. We did restock the toilet paper, salt & pepper, etc. Would highly recommend for the location. Perfect for our girl's trip.

The property was nice and in a good location to the beach. it was very convenient to be able to park on site. Minor TLC needed on the stairs (some boards lifting), and the ability to shut and lock bathroom doors with small kids around. The property was clean except with the couches which we noticed in the cushions when we had to search for toys. The host was very accommodating and responsive and I would definitely stay at this property again.

We had everything we needed for six cousins gathering at the beach! The stay couldn't have been easier, and the location was great - close to beach access and the main road with shops and restaurants, but tucked away where it was quiet.

Great location to explore town and beach. The previous reviews are accurate about the property needing maintenance and upkeep and upholstery/rug cleaning. But if it were my place, I would be waiting till a storm too so I understand the deferred issues while generating revenue. But the beds were very clean and comfy which is most important for cleanliness and the walking distance and ample parking is great. It’s a strong value for having your own four walls versus a hotel on a primarily high density island and you can prepare simple meals and spread out a bit. If you want a house at the beach it’s a good choice. If you want luxurious you will want to look at other properties.

This house has everything you’ll need! The space was excellent & perfect for our girls trip. The house fits four people very comfortably and everyone had their own bed. You could comfortably fit a couple more people if you wanted. We very much appreciated the access to beach towels and there were plenty of bath towels available as well. We also enjoyed the screened in outdoor space in the morning for coffee & at night with the string lights on for ambiance. There were a couple items left behind presumably from the group that stayed at the house before us. But nothing entirely gross or dirty. The house could benefit from some minor repairs, but overall the space was fantastic!

Great house and location!

We had a great stay!! Owners were great to communicate with - very responsive. We love the location to be able to walk to town and to the beach and ride bikes. Can’t wait to come back!

Short Folly Break

This house was perfect for our long weekend in Folly. We rented bikes and didn’t have to get in our car until we left. Perfect distance from town and the beach. Well-stocked kitchen and the bedrooms were cozy. We loved the screened porch and huge backyard. Great spot!

Folly Family time

Great place to relax and take it slow. The home was clean, well stocked for cooking, and beds were comfortable. The screened in porch was awesome for having coffee every morning. Walking distance to the restaurants and shops right off the main strip. We enjoyed our time together there.

We loved our stay at the beach house! The location was excellent. We barely used our cars and rode a golf cart and bikes we rented around most places. The kitchen was well stocked to cook some delicious meals in and we enjoyed the board games provided as we had quite a bit of rain the first few days. The kids loved the outdoor shower and now want one at home! The huge backyard was nice and having a washer and dryer proved crucial! We would stay again next time we are in Folly Beach!

Excellent!

I've stayed in many houses at Folly and this was one of the best. It was very well equipped. The towels and sheets were wonderful! They even had beach towels and beach chairs. The house was very clean and the furnishings were beautiful. We hope to be back soon!

Lovely stay

We had such a lovely time in Charleston. This was a perfect home base for exploring - tucked away and quiet, but close to the beach and main drag on Folly. Screen porch was 💯for morning tea/coffee. Super close to our fav cafe on folly, Lost Dog. We rented bikes and enjoyed seeing the whole island that way. The beaches on either end are more untouched and wild. Great stay!

Folly

Nice property. Overall very satisfied. Josh was quick with replies and meeting our needs. Our only suggestion is to add additional privacy to the hallway bathroom as the sliding barn door does not completely close off the entry sufficiently.

The location was great and walking distance to the beach. The property could use additional upkeep. Beds/couches had stains, the floors and rugs were not vacuumed after previous guests.

Perfect House for the Beach!

This house is SO CLOSE to the beach. We timed it -- 5 minute walk without kids; closer to 7 minutes with kids. It was perfect! There is plenty of seating, the beds are comfy, and the hosts provide PLENTY of towels — bath and beach towels! — which I appreciate. There were plenty of dishes available in the kitchen and check-in/out was easy. Fenced in yard with the tree swing was so perfect. We enjoyed lots of coffee on the back porch and let the kids run around the yard.
