Welcome to our newly remodeled downstairs apartment, perfectly located across from "The Washout," South Carolina's premier surfing beach. This 1-bedroom suite offers everything you need for a relaxing island getaway. Just steps from the beach, a short bike ride to local restaurants, and a 15-minute drive to historic Charleston, it’s an ideal spot for couples, surfers, beach lovers, and solo travelers.
This spacious 650-square-foot guest suite features a separate bedroom with a king-size bed, a cozy sitting area with a 55" TV, high-speed WiFi with an extender, and a 4K Apple TV ready for your subscriptions and streaming. The fully equipped kitchen includes high-quality cookware, utensils, appliances, and bar essentials.
Your private entrance is located on the right side of the home and includes a shaded seating area and an outdoor shower with hot and cold water. Beach access is just one house away. We provide two folding beach chairs, a cooler, and a soft-top surfboard for your use. However, we do not supply beach towels, blankets, umbrellas, or shade canopies, so please bring your own. Kindly avoid taking bath towels to the beach.

We are a lively local family living full-time in the upstairs unit. Our children are 5 and 3, and like most young kids, they are active and energetic. You will hear normal family noise at times, including footsteps, voices, and backyard play during the day.
This is a 1960s beach home and sound does travel. We observe quiet hours from 8:00 pm to 8:00 am and are very mindful during that time. Outside of quiet hours, we cannot guarantee a silent environment.
This space is best suited for active travelers who plan to spend their days enjoying Folly Beach, exploring Charleston, surfing, fishing, or being outdoors. It is likely not a good fit for guests seeking a silent retreat or planning to spend most of the day inside watching television.
If daytime noise from an active family may impact your stay, we kindly encourage you to book a standalone property instead.vThis listing does not include access to our dock or storage shed.
Guests can park on the right side of the driveway under the flag and access the private entrance via the stone pathway.
