Handicap Friendly Pets Allowed Beach House - Ocean Across the Street with Elevator!

A *PET FRIENDLY* fully furnished, Folly Beach vacation home that's close to everything on the beach! Ocean is directly across the street - convenient access. Only 2 blocks to Folly Beach's shops, restaurants and pier. The home was specifically designed for your vacation with a vaulted great room, elevator, friendly kitchen and 4 sets of French doors spanning the front of home to maximize the view. Large front covered porch with hammock, BBQ & patio furniture. Sundeck for private sunbathing.

This elevated home has a large fenced back yard that is perfect for pets. (Our Great Dane and his playmate visit in the off season and they love it!).


Why this home over others at Folly Beach?: This home was specifically designed for your vacation! The owner chose the lot and house plan with your family in mind. It's on the West side of Folly Beach where there's less traffic and noise, but only 2 1/2 blocks - easy walking distance - to the restaurants, shops, pier, etc., on Center Street. The home is 2nd row with direct access to the beach. We are PET FRIENDLY and have an ELEVATOR (great for easy unpacking and settling in after a long trip - or for any guest not able to climb stairs) and a fenced in back yard. The home is also great for anyone using a wheel chair, with extra wide doors to one master bedroom, bathroom and shower. And , unlike front beach and most 2nd row homes on Folly, this home has wonderful parking. There is room for 3 cars under the home and room for 5 more cars on the driveways. Also unusual for a Folly vacation rental is the fenced in back yard. It's shaded by the house - a great place for everyone to relax out of direct sunlight.

Sunbathing with sun burnt friends? You'll love our combination sun deck and covered porch. It's large enough to spread out and get just the right tan. And the trees surrounding it add some nice privacy from nearby homes. For guests who had a little too much sun, the covered part of the deck provides welcome relief. Hang out on the patio furniture or in the hammock and recuperate without missing any of the conversation!

This was a great space for our two families. Plenty of room for 4 adults and 4 kids and 2 dogs. The fenced in backyard was a nice touch for the pets. The beach is 100 yds away and Center St is a 5 min walk. Perfect location. We would definitely visit again.

This house was perfect for us. It was clean and had a practical floor plan. Super thick bath towels and plenty of paper products were provided. The elevator helped transport the old doggies up and down to the fenced in yard for potty breaks or when I walked them on the beach. The house was conveniently located (practically across the street) to a nice beach access. It was also close enough for us to walk to Center Street for popular restaurants (Rita's) and gift shops (Mr. John's) as well as the pier. The kitchen was set up nicely with a very nice refrigerator (it looked new), nice stove, cabinets and counters. I really liked the washer and dryer as well. I was amazed at the games and books available for guests. I got so engrossed in one of the books that I ordered a copy for myself from Amazon since I wasn't able to finish it while there. The handicapped accessible shower is also extremely nice. I fell in love with the Pawley's Island hammock on the front porch and liked the fact that the porch was gated so I was able to let my dogs out there without fear of them falling off. I would put their dog beds out there while I read and napped in the hammock and they seemed to enjoy it all as much as I did. This was a wonderful place to stay!

The house and location were great! The response from the owner was very good. Our problem was that the internet service was totally unreliable. We had three people that needed it for work so that was a big issue. Those three were able to join the family vacation based on internet access for work. Seems like Comcast doesn’t serve the area very well. Lesson learned! Otherwise, the vacation spot was wonderful!

Convenient location

We enjoyed our stay in this home on Folly Beach. Even though it was not on front beach, it was a very short walk. The pictures in the add, though, are outdated as it shows a view of the ocean. The beautiful oak tree out front totally blocks that view. (It really needs to be pruned.). The elevator was a huge help as we carried heavy items upstairs. We were able to sleep 11 comfortably. The fenced backyard was awesome since we brought our furry child with us. She loved it and we loved not having to leash her to take her outside. The two driveways made movement easy since everyone went different directions at various times. Being able to pull out in the road behind the house as well as the front was helpful as well. I did reach out to the property manager about the significant leak coming from one of the showers but did not hear back. Hope they are able to get that fixed soon. The only other concern was the internet. Seems like the router needs to be updated as we had very spotty service. Again, despite these few things, we really enjoyed our stay in this home. We would highly recommend.

Great rental property

We enjoyed our stay, it was a 60th birthday celebration with family. Great having a working elevator to get wheelchair and mother-in-law around safely. Would have preferred the beds to be a little lower for her, but it worked out fine. The space was definitely great for our needs and a fenced yard was an added pleasure for the children.

Great location and space

My family and I appreciated that the house was clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. We loved being so close to the beach and a short walk to the restaurants and stores on Center Street. My sons and daughter-in-law worked remotely during the week and enjoyed taking calls out on the spacious, shady deck. We've stayed in several great places in Folly Beach, and this was our favorite!

Another wonderful stay!

This was my family’s second time booking this house. It works perfect for our group of six - everyone gets their own corner of the house with a great common area. And the porch can not be beat! You’re just across the street from the beach and a short walk to Center. Can’t wait to come back!

Fabulous House

Best beach vacation house ever

I had an amazing stay at the beach house. Everything was so close, and the beach was right across the street! My kids had so much fun playing games and reading. They did not want to leave. We will need to come back again, for sure. A bonus is that we got to stay over Super Bowl weekend and watch our team win. The water was always warm, and there was a cute little backyard. The elevator was really convenient, too. It was a great place for a family reunion. Thanks so much for everything!
