The Space:

Escape the hustle and bustle and stay in this beautiful home in Folly Beach! This beach-themed home features strong natural lighting, a gourmet kitchen, and a spacious living area with the perfect amount of space for your family and friends. Plus, the porch and balcony offer stunning marsh views. Hammocks underneath the home allow you to relax and let your cares drift away.



Inside, vaulted ceilings and windows create a bright, airy living space, while updated appliances and tasteful finishes provide all the comfort and convenience you need. The full gourmet kitchen comes equipped with stainless steel appliances, including a dishwasher, making meal prep and cleanup a breeze. Meals can be enjoyed at the indoor dining table or out on the furnished, open deck. At the end of the day, head to the screened porch and watch as the marsh comes alive with birds and wildlife as the sun sinks slowly out of sight. On cooler nights, make your way to the sitting area by the marsh and maybe roast a s'more or two over the firepit.

Beautiful getaway on the marsh

We had a wonderful time at pelican’s hideaway. The views were gorgeous and we loved that it was located on a quieter part of the island. We spent a ton of time on the screened porch. The beach access was close by and not too crowded despite it being a holiday weekend. The only critique I have is that the unit wasn’t as clean as we’re used to with rentals. There was dirt/crumbs in places and we had to wash most of the dishes prior to use. It didn’t ruin our stay by any means, just found it a little surprising and may be worth addressing with the cleaning crew - also the cleaning crew arrived at 9am instead of 10am and were there waiting for nearly an hour as we were packing up. The linens were all fresh, and beds were comfortable. The house does get warm during the day but it is an older house with lots of windows so that’s to be expected. Things cooled down nicely in the evening so we were able to sleep comfortably. We would absolutely stay here again.

Relaxing get-a-way

We had a wonderful stay at this property! It was perfect for our family of 4 - our teenage kids each had their own bedroom, and also plenty of common space for all of us! The kitchen was well stocked. We loved having our coffee on the screened in porch in the mornings and a cocktail at the fire pit in the evenings. The house is a quick 5 minute walk to the beach, and .9 miles (20 minute) walk to center street with restaurants. We loved the walk, but if you don’t want to walk, rent a golf cart! The house was also a great base for day excursions into Charleston. We felt the listing was very accurate. Loved our stay!

Beautiful, stocked kitchen, great location!

We loved our stay and were impressed at the beauty of the house and the location. The kitchen was very well stocked. Only negative would be trying to communicate with the property manager prior to our stay. I was never able to speak to someone, and was on hold for hours before giving up several times. Once it was time for our stay, the property management company was very easy to communicate with.
