One of Folly's Best! Heron's Nest is the perfect spot for the solo traveler or for the couple looking for a peaceful and economical monthly stay. This recently renovated 1 BR/1 BA upstairs apartment, located on Center Street, is less than a ten-minute walk to the beach. It is close enough to stroll to all the restaurants, shops, and nightlife yet far enough away to escape the noise. Across the street is a small park and public fishing dock. You will be comfortable with a new king-size bed, full kitchen, washer/dryer, and low-key home furnishings, There are TVs in the living room and bedroom, and WIFI. It also includes one reserved parking space. Heron's Nest allows 3 well-behaved flea-treated dogs with prior approval. Please include the breed and weight in your original inquiry.

Great hideaway

What an amazing little hideaway! It was perfect for our belated honeymoon/hubby’s birthday getaway. It fit our needs perfectly and we are already looking forward to returning to Folly Beach next year!

The property was clean and the right size for 2 people. It had one window A/C unit that was inadequate. Water pressure was extremely low in bathroom sink. It was nice but needed some attention. No instructions for Tv's. That was a nightmare since it rained everyday.

Great place

Great little place that you can easily walk across town to the beach. We walked to the beach daily which was very nice. Washer & dryer were convenient. Dryer squeled a bit so would recommend that getting checked. No need to buy silverware or plates as those are provided along with toiletries and other little items needed like dishsoap and detergent pods. Overall, very happy with our stay

Superclean!

The apartment is very clean and has everything you need. Only suggestion is to have another mirror put up somewhere. The only one was above the sink in the bathroom. We were in for a wedding and had to share the mirror and could not see below our chest! Lol Otherwise, perfect!

The Herons Nest

Cute little place. Walking distance to the beach and restaurants. Bedroom is facing the road so there is a lot of road noise. Love that there is a keypad, rather than a key for entry. This made access easy.

Great 1 Bedroom Apartment

The Apartment is a perfect 1 bedroom for a couple or small family. Location is great, only a few blocks from all the restaurants and shops. Apartment came with everything needed for stay like, soap, shampoo, trash bags, and paper towels. The only small complaint I could have is we had to stop and ask the office where exactly the apartment was due to the check in not having specific details for location. This is not a big deal though as it is right upstairs. Overall, we would gladly rent again.

Amazing stay

This VRBO was more than I expected. The rooms were very clean, there was a booklet giving info about all the things to do in the folly/Charleston area and a nice touch to have a gift bag with all the toiletry/dish/trash needs. There were pots and pans making it easy for a night in. This stay is in the heart of folly. All resturaunts and beach access were truly just minuet walks away. This is stay not only made for adults but for children as well! Private parking and a washer and dryer made it convenient as well. I am.already planning my next year's stay!

Nice place!

It was a great place to stay for a couple day getaway. Someone who works on the property, possibly a maintenance man or manager, was the first person we had contact with and he was super nice and helpful. He greeted us every morning and made sure we were enjoying ourselves. It’s a 10 minute walk to the beach and close to plenty of cool bars, restaurants, a lost dog cafe for breakfast.

Peace Getaway

My gf and I wanted a quiet staycation before our graduate classes started and this location was perfect. Extremely clean and quiet. Since you’re right off the bridge, you’re away from the music and restaurants. We used a golf cart and had no problems getting to and from the beach and other locations. We’ll definitely look into booking this place again for our spring break

Simple but has everything you need .

Easy to find, check in/ out . Simple, but has everything you need( washer/ dryer is a plus) A 10 min walk to the beach, but we enjoyed walking through town every day. Walking distance to everything. Right next to the Lost Dog Cafe( great breakfast place) I wish the AC unit could be turned a little lower ( because it is not in the bedroom ), but with the fan on we made it work.

Just what we needed!!

This spot is right when you come in to Folly Beach, hidden next to a church and kyack rental. The only small issue was the lack of central AC, but that only really mattered at bedtime. Using a box fan to draw air into the bedroom worked just fine. We had everything we needed in the condo and it is so easy to walk anywhere along Folly Road you want to go. Would definitely stay again!

Great location with peace of mind

The property is exactly as it is described. We had a relaxing stay on a very hot weekend. Everything is walkable, no need to get in the car at all. We were able to leave our two pups for the day with peace of mind to enjoy the beach, eat lunch or dinner, etc. Great stay, no problems, and would love to return!

Romantic Getaway

Just so quaint and cozy. You can walk everywhere on the beach. Go to Center Street to get amazing coffee. Good kitchen. Nice to have washer and dryer.
