  • Log home with all the amenities located just 1.3 miles from the Bitteroot river just east of Florence, and 26 miles from Missoula. The home features 3 bedroom, 2 bath, fully equipped kitchen with living and dining area. The home includes a sun room, gas fire place, central air, Dish TV, satellite internet, beautiful surround deck, Weber grill, and a fenced in back yard. The property consists of 5 acres including a mowed yard, trees, and fenced in native vegetation. This is a pet friendly property with a completely fenced in back yard.

Everything is included with this excellent property for an extended stay: full cupboards, all cookware, great for the dogs, beautiful walking areas, and more. We will definitely stay again!

Beautiful and Peaceful Cabin

We loved our stay! Great place, easy to find! Lots of great places to see on the Bitterroot valley trails! Our favorites: kootenia creek, bass creek trailhead, bear creek trailhead, st. Mary’s Peak, and lake como! For sure would come back!

It felt like we were in a movie!!

This beautiful log cabin is so incredible and the hosts were incredibly friendly and informative. We walked in and had our breath taken away - it was just perfect. Close enough to many hiking trails but tucked away under the trees and off the main road. So grateful we found it, we'll be back someday!

The Bitteroot VRBO was wonderful! Beautiful house and comfortable- the kitchen had everything we needed. We enjoyed hiking, fishing, the Hamilton Rodeo and also horseback riding in Lolo. Thank you.

Back to Nature- Family Gathering!

Our stay was AMAZING! The home is nestled in a quiet and beautiful location. Every morning we had a family of deer visiting the “Park-like” property. We all have a great appreciation and admiration of wildlife, so the deer’s visit made our stay extra special! The house was cozy, and had all the amenities one could ask for. We would DEFINITELY stay on this property again!

Quiet escape

We traveled to the area for a baseball tournament, and I can’t tell you how amazing it was to be able to retreat to this beautiful property for rest and relaxation between games. I strung a hammock between a couple of trees and took in the beautiful surroundings. The house was spacious, comfortable, and had all the amenities we needed. I would definitely stay again!

Cozy Cabin

This log cabin was perfect for our family Christmas. It was well equipped with everything we needed. Super cozy and warm. Beds comfy. The large fenced backyard was enjoyed by our small dog. The only thing missing was SNOW!

Breathtaking

We absolutely loved this property! Coffee on the back porch and cocktails on the side porch. Didn’t see a soul unless we went into town which made it so peaceful. The house is very well appointed and classy. Could not have asked for more!

What a beautiful property and clean comfortable cabin. We had fun watching the birds and chipmunks from the beautiful sitting room with windows. And deer from the porch! We had an extra adult one evening due to travel plans changing; very accommodating.

Relaxing...

This cabin is perfection plain and simple. If you are looking for something quiet, relaxing with the feeling of seclusion this is it. While there are plenty of activities and restaurants in the area you do not guilty staying in and just enjoying the property itself. We spent 2 weeks there and could have gone a lot longer if we could have. The cabin has everything you need, linens, cookware, etc and was very clean when we arrived. Looking forward to staying there next year.

A spectacular property in a breathtaking location

The cabin is very spacious, comfortable, and well-appointed. The front and back yards are massive, with numerous diverse trees. The location is perfect for long walks with amazing views of the valley in all directions. We enjoyed the proximity to Missoula, Hamilton, and countless trails that can be accessed from the highway. I very much hope that we can make it back some time.

Great Stay!

We really enjoyed our stay at the property - it was exactly as advertised. We were 4 friends fishing for 2 weeks and it was a great location, neighborhood, nice outdoor space and the house had everything we could have possibly needed. The only advice I'd give to the owners(to be clear this is NOT a negative critique) is to convert one of the sofas to a pull out or futon to add just a little bit more sleeping space for another person or 2!

Our hosts were wonderful. Very clear instructions. Very quiet property. Everything needed for a great stay. Easy access to airport. Kitchen very well stocked. Very clean and inviting. Peaceful and beautiful

What an amazing piece of property! So peaceful and beautiful. The cabin was clean, well maintained and had everything we needed! The best part is the awesome deck! We could’ve stayed out there all day, every day. We had a little family of deer greet us every morning and evening. We miss this place so much already! It was conveniently located for us to explore Montana and surrounded by beauty. If we ever make it back to Montana, this is our place! Thank you Jack for sharing your beautiful place with us!
