The Blue Nest is a lakefront property with dock and access to Lake Palestine.

Our 2,400 sqft. home is tastefully decorated and fully equipped and comfortably sleeps 9. The open-plan living area features large windows that offer breathtaking views of the lake, as well as a comfortable seating area and 2 dining seating areas. Public boat ramp available, driveway allows for boat parking. The sunroom offers a home office area and two cozy loungers. Foam mattresses in each room, plush linens, K-cups, beach towels, 3 kayaks and 1 canoe.

The Blue Nest was a great stay for our extended family while we were in town for our son’s wedding. The layout of the house was perfect for us and we thoroughly enjoyed the sunroom on the back of the house. We will caution that the floor has several issues in the main areas which were a tripping hazard for the older grandparents in our group. Two are covered by floor mats so not noticeable until you step in the break. We did enjoy the use of the canoe and the grill. We would highly recommend staying here, just be aware of where you step.

Cute house! Grass was tall -would have been nice to at least have a trail to the dock mowed.Contacted the host regarding dirty floors & dusty furniture, dried food on pans put away in cabinet. Host was quick to respond & helpful!!

Girls trip

This our second time to stay here and it is perfect for us. The house is very well decorated and the layout is perfect. Plenty of everything. We will be back next spring. The neighborhood is very quiet, a little rough in places but nice and quiet.

Perfect Family Getaway in Flint for a Wedding

We had a fantastic stay in Flint, Texas, while attending a family wedding. The host was extremely responsive and accommodating, making our arrival and stay seamless. The house was immaculate and equipped with all the amenities we needed, which made us feel right at home. One of the highlights was the beautiful yard and dock area, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the scenery. The spacious kitchen was thoughtfully stocked, allowing us to prepare meals with ease. Overall, it was an ideal setting for our family gatherings, and we would highly recommend this property to anyone visiting the area!

Excellent stay

The house has been beautifully remodeled and was in a great location. Plenty of space inside and out with a nice dock being built. Jacob was very easy to communicate with and helpful with any questions. By far one of the best stock places ive stayed with plenty of extra towels, linens, and a stocked kitchen.

Great for family wedding

House is lovely, well appointed and fully stocked with everything you need. Stocked kitchen, linens, games, even kid toys. Great lake access and beautiful view. Would stay again in a heartbeat. Two minutes from our son's wedding venue. Grill, firewood for fire pit, kayaks and canoes. We got to enjoy the view and outside but did not get chance to get on the water. Plenty of room for our family and friends. Highly Highly recommend. Seller was also very responsive!!!

Genau die richtige Entscheidung

Für die Sonnenfinsternis haben wir ein Haus für 6 Personen gesucht, welches schön gelegen, nicht weit vom Flughafen Dallas entfernt ist und möglichst nahe an der Totalitätszone liegt. Wir sind fündig geworden und haben es nicht bereut. Das Haus ist groß, toll gelegen und ist von den größeren Städten nicht so weit entfernt. So konnten wir Tyler, Waco, Houston und Dallas besuchen, ohne den ganzen Tag im Auto unterwegs zu sein. Die Gastgeber haben sich für uns richtig ins Zeug gelegt, haben ein sehr sauberes und voll ausgestattetes Haus übergeben. Mit dem Zugang zum See konnten wir mit den bereitgestellten Kanus die sonnigen Tage für eine Wasserwanderung nutzen. Abends haben wir am Lagerfeuer gesessen und die Ruhe genossen. Alles in allem war der Urlaub ein großes Erlebnis - auch dank der großartigen Unterkunft.

Great house, views, and set up!

We had such a wonderful time at the Blue Nest. Everything was thought of for our comfort. I got a little confused on my timing and checkin time and Josh was so helpful and accommodating. The beds were super comfortable. The rooms were set up in such a way that our group of 6 were able to enjoy each other and feel like we had plenty of space. We were glad that previous reviews mentioned the kind of run down neighborhood, so we weren’t surprised. We always felt safe and the house was awesome!

Annual Family Vacation

Our family takes a trip every summer and this year did not disappoint! The house was spacious and clean. It had all the amenities we needed. The beds were SO comfy which was a huge plus for all of us. The check in process was seamless and our hosts were on top of everything. The neighborhood was overall quiet and peaceful. The neighbor a couple of houses down let us fish off of her dock and unload when we dropped people off after boating. Grocery stores were just right around the corner, as was the marina. This was such a peaceful and relaxing vacation and it definitely was hugely in part to this property. It’s such beautiful, well kept home and we definitely recommend!
