Nestled on a peaceful and picturesque farm, our rental offers all the comforts of home, including a fully equipped kitchen, cozy bedrooms, and a spacious yard for play. The kids will love visiting the animals and exploring the pond, while parents can relax and unwind in the serene surroundings.     Our 50 acre working farm with cows, pigs, goats, and chickens hosts 2 accommodations, a cabin and a farmhouse. You can rent one or both. Both offer on site fishing (catch and release only), hiking trails, campfires, outdoor grills, children's play structures, indoor and outdoor games, self-guided farm tours...
    House with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, only 2 miles from Lake Palestine & 7 miles from Tyler. Enjoy fishing, hiking the nature trails, seeing farm animals, swing set, and firepit for marshmallows! Stocked Kitchen-Everything you’ll need to cook and eat (besides the food!). Farmhouse has
    internet and Satellite TV. We clean and sanitize according to CDC/Airbnb cleaning protocol.
    We are unable to accommodate any animals including ESA service animals. No animals of any kind are allowed. Violations will be termination of stay and $200 fine.
    The maximum occupancy is 9 guests at any one time. We do charge $20 per guest over 6 guests, no matter how short their visit may be. If you have more than the maximum occupancy, your booking may be terminated and no refund given.
    This 50 acre property has 3 houses (2 for guests and 1 for owner).
    We rent 2 fishing poles and a tackle box for $25.
    We sell a bundle of firewood for $10.
    Early check in is $30.
    Late check out is $20 per extra hour.

Great stay at the Gibson House. The owners are amazing people and the house is perfect and as described. I would definitely stay here again.

Fun for everyone

Plenty of room and beds for everyone. The kids loved all the animals and the playground and the adults enjoyed the fire pit.

It was our first family reunion with our grandkids, and we were celebrating a birthday as well, and it was just so much fun. The kids enjoyed fishing. The pond is extremely stock with fish, and everyone was fishing and catching fish. The house was spacious enough that no one felt crowded. Very impressed with all the utensils very nice the cows and the dog very friendly, very nice getaway just to relax and reset and enjoy the beauty of God‘s creation and nature saw a lot of lizards and spiders that was something I was not happy about, but I was in their domain only being I hate it was we have a golden retriever. He would’ve loved to be there with us, but then they’re golden retriever was there we grill and we used it boat-to fish my husband, met the owner the husband, very friendly and accommodate any thing we need very nice property. Great getaway to reset and rest.

Quick Trip

We were only in town for a graduation so we didn’t get to enjoy the whole property but we really loved our stay there and will hopefully be able to stay there in the future! Very spacious and kid friendly. They had a blast playing hide and seek in the house!

Wonderful stay at the farmhouse

My family enjoyed our stay at the farmhouse. We visited and fed the farm animals, rowed the boat, roasted s'mores at the fire, played on the outside equipment, and each child had their own bed! Location was perfect, we went to the zoo and Tyler HAMM, and there is a grocery store only a few minutes away. The hosts are friendly and we will definitely stay again next time we are in Tyler!

Very Friendly Environment

Very roomy and TONS of storage space. Kitchen could use a fewore items but all the essentials were there. Kids loved the farm tour.

Nice

The house is dated but we liked the walking paths very much and and boats for the kids. It would be nice if they provided a few extras such as coffee creamer, a snack, needed a Tylenol ect. Pretty bare bones but they kitchen has all the equipment you need to cook. We made a nice meal.

Family-friendly farm retreat

We were pleasantly surprised by our stay here! There were so many fun little extras we didn't even expect, like the sweet newsletter, feed for the animals, a fishing pond, complimentary boats, hiking trails and more. The house was perfect for our large group (11 total, kids and adults). The kids loved the playground and animals. The owners were very kind and shared their passion for homesteading. It was an easy 15 minutes into almost anything in Tyler. We're keeping this place in mind for our next trip!!
