Taylor Ranch Retreat- Near Downtown Asheville

Come spend some time in the country, yet still be close to the city.
This home 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom house in Fletcher, NC and sleeps a total of 8 people. Enjoy the outdoor space with a nice hot tub to relax in or enjoy each others company around the fire pit. This property is neighboring a Long Horn Cattle Ranch that is private property, please do not go past any fencing or gates.
Climb the wood staircase to a spacious master bedroom with a king-size sleigh bed, en suite bathroom, and private deck. This bathroom has a soaking tub with a separate shower stall.
A landing/loft area at the top of the staircase overlooks the two-story, stone fireplace and open concept living/dining/kitchen area. It's a cozy spot to read a book on the comfortable full-size futon couch that can sleep 2 people.

The first floor has two off of the open living area. One of these bedrooms is an enclosed sunporch lined with rough sawed wood planks, it has a private balcony, a day bed (2 twin beds) and individual climate control. The second bedroom is spacious with a queen-size bed.

Towels and linens are provided for you.

The home is set back in the woods, very private with ample decks and yard to play in. This property is part of a longhorn cattle ranch, while there is green space to explore, please do not go past any fencing or gates. It is down a dirt road and is the perfect country setting for you to get the whole experience of the quiet life. This gravel driveway is a one lane road and is about 1/2 mile to the home. There is another home that you will pass that shares this driveway so please be mindful to go about 15 miles per hour down the road.

Dogs are welcome (maximum 2 dogs, no cats please) upon approval and a $125.00 non refundable pet fee.

PLEASE NOTE:
We have stocked your home with a starter supply of toilet paper, hand soap, paper towels, garbage bags, dish washing soap, and laundry soap to get you started. If you happen to run out or need additional supplies during your stay, you can replenish at a nearby store.
Towels and linens are provided.
Please bring your own shower and bath toiletries.
Friendly reminder~ No smoking or vaping on the premises. There will be a $500.00 fine for any smoking on premises.

Stayed here while visiting the Biltmore Mansion and other local attractions. The property is very private and quiet. The house was clean, comfortable and accommodated our group perfectly! The hot tub was awesome! Would definitely stay here again if we are in the area. The communication with the host was timely, thorough and perfect!

Girl's trip

We stayed here for a birthday girls weekend and it was a lovely experience. Property is gorgeous and peaceful, house is spacious and the hot tub was perfect. We did have an issue that popped up throughout the stay, but I was able to get in contact with management and everything was made right by the end. They were very helpful, especially considering it was a busy new years weekend. Overall, it was a fun stay and we would definitely stay again.

Quiet and Comfy Get-away

Hot tub was great. Kitchen well stocked. Living room cozy. Dining area great for eating together and playing board games. Location about 15-20 minutes from Asheville and a great, quiet stay in the middle of the trees.

Excellent Family Christmas

Our family (six adults and two kids) celebrated Christmas at Taylor Ranch Retreat. The cabin was well stocked with all of the things needed to support that many folks, and provide for making a Christmas dinner! The location was fantastic, and secluded but too far from all necessities. Communication with the property managers was esatablished early and they were able to help us out with anything we needed. We had a great stay, in a great house, with a great location.

Great Location

The Hot Tub definitely needs to be relocated (too much debris under all the trees, and the spiders (Daddy long legs, were all over the place). The inside could be cleaned a bit better before arrival. Overall, this property is a goldmine. We enjoyed the overall cabin itself. Plenty of space, plenty of amenities, and close to everywhere we wanted to visit. We loved the seclusion and making evening fires in the outside firepit.

Weekend gateway 😁

It was nice and peaceful, the kiddos loved it. I had to buy wood to use the fire place 😕 and wait 24 hrs for the hot tube to heat up for use and add water. But after all this we had a blast 😉 we will go back 😁

Fun mountain cabin!

My husband and I went to visit my daughter and her husband. Our other daughter, and five year old son came with us. What a pretty cabin! The location is great, close to everything. And it snowed! A lot of fun for Floridians! The cabin was roomy and warm. We will definitely rent again for one of our upcoming trips.

Thank you for a wonderful stay in Asheville. The house layout was very accommodating. Plenty of warm water. Enjoyed the fireplace although the flue mechanism does not seem to be working to either close or open. The downstairs bedroom bed was not comfortable but upstairs was heavenly. Also note there is a drip in the downstairs tub faucet.

Mustache on the Mona Lisa

Lovely property but with outpoints that made our stay an unhappy one. Queen bed had springs sticking up. Horrible for those with back or hip problems. Vrbo ad stated jetted tub in master bath but we were not allowed to use jets. When I stated that, Inspired Getaways said my observation was false and that it stated soaking tub. While one page does indeed say soaking, the bedroom page stated jetted. I took screenshots and emailed those. They need to change that. TV in upstairs master was not working and remote was found downstairs. It was after business hours when we spotted this so we had no upstairs TV. They should check things before renters arrive. Teflon pans were old and need replacement. These things made this lovely property not comfortable. I hope they fix them. The property itself is beautiful. Would not go back. Our trip was a very uncomfortable and sad birthday for me due to the problems mentioned. The outpoints were a mustache on a Mona Lisa property.

Spacious and Great location

Location was private and quiet, but not too far away from stores and restaurants. Everything we wanted to do was within 30 minutes of the house - WNC wildlife center, apple orchard, and meeting family in west Asheville. House was spacious and we had a generous amount of towels which was nice with the hot tub.

Adoramos a experiência em ficarmos numa casa nas montanhas, rodeado pela floresta. Reunimos a família que veio nos visitar e tidos encantados com a beleza local. Cozinha e banheiros bem equipados, lençóis e toalhas limpas. A limpeza do quarto de baixo poderia ser melhor, pois havia teias de aranha e roupas íntimas embaixo da cama. No geral, excelente e voltaríamos com certeza.

Tremendous getaway in the woods

Stay/cabin was terrific. Everything we wanted. Great time! The only thing was the hot tub was in a weird location, which was muddy to get in/out of. Additionally, the hot tub cover was difficult to use, if not broken. Still rating 5 stars because the location/serenity/cleanliness of cabin.

Peaceful stay with family

The cabin was secluded yet close to everything we wanted to do which included wineries, golf, shopping and the Biltmore Estate. Beds were comfortable. We didn’t use the hot tub but we got a lot of use out of the fire pit. Saw deer, turkey and a bear. We really enjoyed our trip!
