Acogedora casa de campo con impresionantes vistas a la montaña

Preciosas vistas a la montaña! A menos de dos horas y media de Nueva York, a diez minutos del centro de esquí Belleayre y a 40 minutos del histórico Woodstock, esta acogedora y privada casa de campo es perfecta para un retiro romántico en pareja, dos parejas, una familia pequeña o un grupo de amigos que buscan para una escapada relajante y tranquila en las montañas históricas de Catskill.

La cabaña tiene dos habitaciones (ambas con camas Queen size), un baño completo con ducha / bañera y una gran sala que consta de cocina, comedor y sala de estar. Hay una chimenea de leña en el centro de la gran sala. El sofá de la sala se retira para una cama de tamaño completo. Pisos de madera de bambú y muebles modernos de mediados de siglo, TV por cable e Internet de banda ancha Wifi en toda la cabaña.


La sala de estar tiene puertas corredizas de vidrio que se abren a una terraza que cuenta con hermosas vistas a la montaña del Parque Catskill, y campos abiertos con una fogata.

Best of the Catskills

We had a wonderful stay. The location was very private, and the views were amazing. The trails on site were a plus. Loved the little store down the road where the locals sold local meats, jams, meats and produce. A perfect week in the catskill wilderness!

Wonderful Catskills Cottage

We spent a three-day getaway at this tastefully decorated cottage with fabulous views. The hosts were excellent throughout with instructions and tips. There’s even a short well-marked hiking trail on the property. Highly recommend !

Wonderful winter stay in the Catskills

We loved our stay at Halcott Cottage. Check-in was easy, the cottage is super clean and great size for a small family like us, and the location was amazing! Wonderful views of the mountains and secluded but accessible to lots of Catskill towns and skiing. Definitely will be back!

Enjoyed the privacy of this location, but still close enough to enjoy a day ski/boarding day at Belleayre Mt. Beautiful views out the back. Paul was wonderful accommodating our last minute booking. Thanks for a great stay!

Amazing Views

Property did not disappoint. It was true to its listing, photos and reviews. Meadow and wood trails right off back deck. Mountain trailheads nearby. Flat easy walking trails in nearby Roxbury (Catskill Scenic Trail) and Boiceville (Ashokan Rail Trail). Awesome food all around. Oakley's is more than just wood fired pizza and is packed the minute it opens. Woodstock Brewery had awesome food and beer. Scenic drives abound. The Town of Livingston Manor had amazing sandwiches at Main Street Farm Market Cafe. So many places had vegetarian and vegan options. However, you don't need to go anywhere. This cottage view grabs you every minute. The night sky is huge and beautiful. Enjoy yoga with a view. Relax to the views on the huge deck or from indoor comfort of the couch. Views from bedroom also. Our dog loved this place. So quiet. We only heard the calming running of the nearby brook. Cottage had absolutely everything you need with a very well stocked kitchen. Full grocery store in nearby Margaretville. Beds were comfy. Shower never lost hot water. Plenty of room. Town Halcott is quaint with old working farms and the river along the road. Paul, who lives on the 50 acre property but out of sight, was so attentative to any questions we had. Bring your binoculars to watch wildlife in the mountain meadow on an adjacent mountain. Bald eagles, hawks, deer and tons of song birds. Truly a relaxing getaway.

Great cottage, great location

Enjoyed how remote Halcott Cottage felt, yet we were less than 15 minutes to Belleayre. Spent the MLK long weekend here with the family. Comfortable, clean, and the kitchen is well equipped. We hiked the surrounding property which is beautiful. Paul the host was easy to communicate with. Would come again in any season.

Perfect getaway in a picturesque setting

My wife and I and our dog enjoyed a relaxing and rejuvenating week in this beautifully decorated cottage. The mountain views out of the floor-to-ceiling windows in the living room space are breathtaking. The cottage is in a very quiet location within a short driving distance to many beautiful hikes and charming villages. Every drive in this region is a scenic drive. The cottage is very well stocked and has everything you could possibly need to enjoy a great time. And if you need anything else, Paul the owner is very attentive and responsive. We felt truly welcome and had an amazing time -- we highly recommend this place. Thank you for the warm hospitality!

Mountain stay

Our stay was all that we could have hoped for. A warm welcoming cottage with an owner that was supportive and attentive to our needs. A dozen fresh eggs from local chickens greeted us after we arrived and helped to remind us that our stay would be defined by the mountain views and the chance to enjoy the country. The property was clean and had everything we needed to enjoy the week. We would highly recommend this cozy cottage for your next stay!

Cozy getaway.

Fantastic, Secluded Work From Home Getaway

Great place to spend a quiet week away from NYC. Beautiful Mountain views from the living room and back deck, great restaurants and activities nearby, and there was even our own small hiking path in the back yard where we enjoyed our morning coffee. Paul is an excellent host. He’s extremely helpful and provided great recommendations. We hope to stay at Halcott Cottage again, soon!

Vintage cottage with great view

My wife and I stayed here for a week in October and really enjoyed it. We thought the description was accurate and there weren't really any surprises that came up during our stay. The cottage is cozy with a nice open layout between the living room/dining room/kitchen. Very large deck and great view looking across into the valley. Kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, utensils so cooking was easy.

WE DIDN'T WANT TO LEAVE.......

my girlfriend and i sooooo needed a little weeklong getaway and we couldn't have picked a better place... paul the owner was wonderful to deal with and we were so glad we got to meet him up there.... the place is even more beautiful in person... we were lucky to be there for a full fall folliage and EVERWHERE you looked was beautiful and peaceful... the house is quaint... very clean.. comfy beds... great water pressure... and just so so peaceful... we hated leaving and will DEFINATELY be back for another visit... thank you paul for sharing your place with us all... be safe... michele and dottie

A Magical Cottage with Breathtaking Views

We spent 3 weeks here and I can say this was the best rental experience we've ever had. The cottage was perfectly cozy for our group of three. The views are absolutely incredible - they never get old. There are also walking trails on the property through the meadows and woods that we used regularly.. Paul and his husband Michael were so hospitable, kind and responsive. We are already looking at booking our next stay there!
