Mountain Tranquility
This peaceful, non-smoking, fully furnished home, above 3000' elevation, has lots of outdoor spaces. Located 1/2 mile from access to S Fork New River. Our master suite is complete with vintage queen bed, tv and large jetted whirlpool tub/shower. Living area features large screen smart tv, wifi and gas fireplace. Den / reading room with board games and smart tv. Spacious farmhouse kitchen comes with all appliances including dishwasher, toaster, blender, 12 cup drip coffee maker, keurig and much more. Complete laundry room with modern front load washer and dryer. Sheets and towels are provided. Beautiful outdoor space includes spacious deck with patio furniture to enjoy privacy and long range mountain views. A gas grill is also provided for cooking that wonderful meal while enjoying the quiet. Behind the house you will find a large fire ring ( ash removal bucket is provided) with seating and hammock to enjoy mountain climate. Should you encounter inclement weather, there is also a covered carport with ample parking. Road does NOT require 4 wheel drive. Close to shopping, New River, and Blue Ridge Parkway, West Jefferson and Boone.

We had a fantastic time during our stay while going to the antique festival. The house was exceptionally clean and very nice and comfortable and the area was so quiet. We got to spend some quality time with my son and his wife and had a great weekend. Can’t say enough about our hosts they were extremely nice and very easy to deal with. Great little house for a getaway, highly recommend.

Beautiful home located in a peaceful area and within a short driving distance of Boone, Blowing Rock, West Jefferson, etc. We enjoyed our stay at this home and would stay again when visiting the area. Very pleased!!!

Hidden Mountain Gem near West Jefferson!!!

Great mountain property! Really enjoyed the scenery, how well the property was maintained, and the close proximity to nearby towns and the parkway without that hotel or in town feel! Communication up to and throughout my stay was stellar. Top notch hosts! Can’t say enough good things about this property. Enjoyed hikes on Jefferson Mtn and the parkway, as well as some great local dining! Even knocked an item off the bucket list, Zip Lining!! Total blast and will now be on the to do list whenever I get the chance. Boone has gotten more crowded since my last visit years ago. This made this option one I’m sooo glad I picked and will choose again for future stays! Thank you both for a great time! Reset complete until next time…

4th of july

Donalds property was spotless quiet and cozy, cant beat the value of this property. We grilled hotdogs and our toddlers spent time playing on the deck and under the carport in the gravel. We roasted smores in the firepit. We tracked around a lot but the house was always great and comfortable to come home and unwind in. Donaly answered every question we had and gave is directions to a stream for the kiddos to wade in. We will be booking again as we are regular visitors to the area.

Best place ever.

Property owners thought of everything anyone could need, Property owners really care about the people that rent their property. I have rented a lot of properties around the area over the past twenty years and I will say this is the most beautiful and cleanest property not to mention the furniture is very comfortable. I give these folks a ten star review.

Second Visit

The second visit was just as nice and relaxing as the first. The home is so cozy and comfortable. Plenty of room inside and out. It is clean and organized and has local information nearly in a binder. I really enjoyed my time and I’m sure I will go back soon.

Awesome!!

Absolutely the cleanest & best home I have ever stayed in. I have been using VRBO for 30 years & this home feels like home. The decor, the amenities the solitude is all anyone could ask for. Everything you could need is there. I would highly recommend this home to anyone. Great location & easy to find. You are halfway between Boone & West Jefferson.

Don’t miss this one!!

My husband and I were traveling with my parents to decompress. I found this home and decided to book it right away! The cost is phenomenal for today’s market. Check in and out was a breeze. So quiet and peaceful. I will be going back again.

Amazing Home!!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful property! The views were amazing and the area was extremely quiet and peaceful. This home was definitely everything we needed for the perfect weekend getaway to just relax and take in the fresh mountain air. We hope to return and book again soon. The owners were extremely polite and helpful with directions. Everything about this place screams "You're at Home!!". We stayed in several homes over the years and this one was definitely top 10 and highly recommended.

Amazing stay!

Wow! The home was wonderful. We walked in to a very clean home, and I say home because we felt right at home. It had everything we needed and was in a great location to drive to anywhere. We would give MORE than 10 stars if we could. Owners were wonderful and we can’t wait to ho back!
