Little Creek is a charming, but small cabin. Best fit is (2) adults or maybe (2) adults and 1-2 Children. Max occupancy is (4) people Total.

Tucked away in the picturesque pines and Majestic Hardwoods of the North Carolina High Country sits a cabin built from 200 year old logs named Little Creek. Just over one mile from the beautiful Blue Ridge Parkway, this romantic getaway is situated on over 7 wooded acres at the end of an undisturbed lane which will provide much sought-after peace, quiet, and privacy. Guests can enjoy hiking on cabin grounds or grab a much-needed breath of fresh air curled up under the tin-roofed front or back porch with a steaming mug of coffee. On the property rests a small flower garden that attracts local butterflies and hummingbirds eager to welcome you to your newest home away from home. At the back of the property while watching the sunset over the mountains you will also be able to view an enchanting Christmas tree farm.

As you approach the cabin you will be struck by it’s picturesque setting. The exterior is authentically constructed from beautiful, antique, hand-hewn logs. This interior will not disappoint! You are greeted at the door by hickory plank flooring and a striking wood-burning fireplace. Complete with two bedrooms, the Master is located on the main level of the property, offering an antique queen bed frame and pillow-top mattress. (Please note that the frame and mattress causes this bed to be HIGHER than normal). The second bedroom and one-half bath comprise the second level of the cabin and house a double and twin bed. This unique cabin is the perfect fit for a couple or small family.
Whether you’re looking to experience the great outdoors, need a quiet escape from the city, or are planning a romantic mountain getaway, we would like to cordially invite you to experience all that Little Creek Cabin has to offer.

Little Creek Cabin is conveniently located to Boone/Blowing Rock, The Jefferson’s, Historic Todd/New River, and the Blue Ridge Parkway is just over the ridge.

WINTER RENTALS: 4wd or all wheel drive vehicles are recommended during winter months when visiting anywhere in the mountains, as you my encounter snow/slippery conditions.

DISCLOSURE: Due to the Cabin’s private location, Premises are equipped with (1) Non-audio Exterior Driveway Security Camera.

IMPORTANT: Maximum occupancy is 4 GUESTS TOTAL (including children). Stated occupancy at time of booking must be accurate. NO ADDITIONAL VISITORS, OR ROTATION OF GUESTS PERMITTED.

The cabin was just perfect for our stay over Christmas! We enjoyed walking and exploring around the property with our dog. Our favorite spot was the seating area overlooking the Christmas tree farm- what a view! The cabin was well-organized and beautifully decorated. Beautiful historic cabin, very clean, unusually comfortable beds, peaceful surroundings. Even the kitchenware was spotlessly clean! (Not sure why the skiing question is part of the VRBO review form; it was October so there was no skiing.) The host communicated with us in a very timely and appropriate manner which we greatly appreciated. We hope to return!

This was our first stay in Paul’s cabin but it definitely won’t be our last! Myself and my Mom went on a girls mountain weekend trip! We stayed 3 nights and Paul went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect before and during our stay. The cabin was immaculate!! The kitchen is stocked with any and every gadget you could think of if you wanted to stay in and cook. We took the last day of our trip as sort of a relaxing day, we wondered about the property and checked out the Christmas tree farm next door, sat and watched the little deer family that visited us daily. It truly was a much needed get away.

Enchanting woodland oasis.

To escape the city and summer heat, this little cabin in the woods was ideal. I highly recommend this cabin if you are seeking rest and relaxation. Our host Paul, was gracious to offer recommendations and reminded us not to miss the sunset on the ridge which was made all the better from the well thought out viewing platform and comfortable chairs. The cabin is tastefully, appointed and fully equipped has thought of all possible needs. Thank you.

Outstanding Owner

The property is just as advertised, but what really sets it apart is the owner. A winter storm created power outages the week of our trip. Paul stayed in contact with both the power company and us, literally right up to the time of arrival, to ensure that we were able to get the most out of our visit.

A Dream

No need to think twice! From the moment I booked, Paul (the host), went above and beyond with communication—answering all my questions quickly and making sure I had everything I needed. Even during our stay he was a text away, responding within minutes. The location is incredibly private, tucked away and backing up to a stunning Christmas tree farm, which made for the most peaceful mornings and beautiful views. The cabin itself is so cozy, with every little detail thoughtfully arranged for comfort. We really appreciated how clean it was—everything we touched was spotless and this is hard to find. Highly recommend.
