"We highly recommend staying in this beautiful lake house retreat. Rustic location, but close to shopping, restaurants & activities. We went to Dupont state park, Asheville adventure company, and the Biltmore. My teen daughter (and adults) loved all the activities. And if you want to just stay at the lake, there are plenty of activities to keep you busy with a great pool, beautiful lake, firepit, nice walking areas, and canoes. "We will go back again. I recommended to anyone but we couldn't handle the smoke cigarettes from the next door. We did not enjoy the balcony which is very nice. You need specific place at the property for people who smoke. When.we got there the floor was very thirty i cleaned it with a little towel. Beautiful property it need some repair outside specially the stairs the handles are thirty and need to go please,because people can fall down they are checking parking lot need be mark the alarm...

"This place was so pretty and the house was large for our group of 10. Very great price for such a nice place. Enjoyed getting to see the goats, cows, chickens,and ducks. Also had a game room which the kids loved."
