"Four years ago, we stayed at the Hotel Les Grands Montets as part of our Tour du Mont Blanc ten-day trek. We had two nights there as we prepared for our last two legs of hiking on our trek. Unfortunately, poor weather did not permit us to take the preferred route to the Lac Blanc -- wind and precipitation made that leg too dangerous. We did an alternate route. We decided to complete the Lac Blanc section one day. This year, we completed that leg of the trip under excellent weather...

"We had an excellent stay! The room was clean, spacious, and you can tell it was recently renovated. It was nice to have the toilet separate from the shower to get the family out on the slopes and to bed faster. Beds and bedding was cozy. Breakfast is light—croissants, coffee machine, orange/apple tropicana juice, granol mixture and an assortment of cold cuts and cheeses. Location is great—3 min walk to the Morzine gondola.
