Great place to stay

We needed a place to stay near summer camp so we could drop off and pick up our day campers, and this fit the bill perfectly. 4 adults and 4 kids fit very comfortably. Very clean and had everything we needed. The game room is in the garage, so gets very warm in the summer months.

Beautiful Property in Hill Country

The house is beautiful with all the amenities you could hope for situated in a gorgeous part of the state. The area is very quiet and perfect for viewing the stars at night- we even saw a few meteors. Found plenty of things to do in surrounding towns and really enjoyed our stay.

Hill Country Retreat!

We had a great stay at Stargazer. Were in town for a wedding that was close by. The neighborhood was a very nice gated community, and the home was spacious and perfect for our family.

This property is amazing. It is absolutely gorgeous. Very comfortable and spacious for everyone. The hot tub was great and the view in the morning is beautiful. The kitchen is beautiful as well. Will definitely stay here at the stargazer again..

This house was absolutely PERFECT! My favorite part about this house was how toddler friendly it was! The house is at the end of a street on 2 acres and it was just so nice to let my kids run freely and have no concerns! The garage is filled with kid friendly games, too! The views of the hill country are breathtaking! We could not speak more highly of this house and the experience we had!!

Peaceful and comfortable

We attended a wedding in Wimberley and several family members rented this house! It exceeded our expectation in being spacious, comfortable sleeping areas, and a peaceful location. The hot tub, ping pong table, outdoor area were an added bonus to keep kids entertained! Highly recommend this beautiful house.

This is the second time we have stayed here. This place is roomy and comfortable. The last time we stayed it had a jacuzzi hot tub but got rid of it since last year. We didn’t realize it. That was one of the great things about this place. The living room could use better furniture for everyone to be able to sit and hang out but overall it’s a nice place

Fantastic stay

This home was clean, beautifully decorated, fully stocked with cookware in the kitchen, and located in a peaceful and beautiful area. There was a ping pong table, corn hole, basketball, mini soccer balls, kite, and football for our teens to enjoy. The fire pit and hot tub were used each evening. It was a wonderful getaway for our family.

Girls weekend

We love this property! This was the 2nd time our group of 8 women stayed here and were extremely pleased both times! The only minor problem we encountered was that only one of the three burners on the gas grill was working so we had to cook our food indoors. Otherwise, everything was wonderful. The house is well stocked and very accommodating!

Wonderful house

This house is beautiful and furnished with thoughtfulness for their visitors. The beds were very comfortable, towels and extras were well planned. The kitchen is well organized and stocked. The owners jumped in quickly to get the hot tub power when there was an issue. We were so grateful!!

What a wonderful vacay!

Our family had the best time! We celebrated the 2024 New Year at this property/house and not only was it such a beautiful house but it boasted gorgeous sunsets, a fantastic hot tub, plenty space and a clean and lovely home! us! They even had a Christmas tree up for our enjoyment and we had a fire not only indoors in the fireplace but outdoors in their amazing fire pit! We had a loooovely time relaxing and enjoying not having an agenda. We’ll be back, thank you for having us!

Beautiful Home

Great home in Texas Hill Country. Only one room has its own bath but others are accessible. Master bath is huge. Downstairs second bedroom is close to bath. Two bedrooms upstairs with bath close by. TV is living room is incredibly difficult to navigate but this does not change the stay.

Nice Location

We particularly chose this rental for the hot tub use as we had teens and a younger child that would have enjoyed that, but unfortunately it was broke. I did ask about the hot tub prior to renting and was told it worked.. it did not work from the start and had been told someone had been there prior servicing it. Other than that house was nice, roomy, location.

Perfect Spot Off the Beaten Path

I can honestly say, I was shocked at how nice this house was. I’ve been to a lot of properties on VRBO, but only 1 other was this quality. The view from atop the hill was amazing. The neighborhood was quiet, low traffic, nice neighbors. It took me a day to get used to the kitchen windows not being covered, but honestly, there’s no one around. The hot initially wasn’t on, but management came right out and had it remedied the very next morning, less than 10hrs overnight. I would recommend again to anyone.

A great home base in the Texas Hill Country with exceptional bedding.

Three generations of my family gathered from across the country for a wedding in the hill country. We were impressed when we arrived, it looked exactly the same as the photos (sometimes the photos flatter and exceed reality). It is secluded and is very quiet. The kitchen is large, modern and well laid out. We cooked three meals and felt right at home. Also the grill gets plenty hot for searing meat. For us though, the high point was the beds. Comfortable mattresses. We all slept so well. The sheets, pillows and bedding were high quality and enhanced our stay. I would recommend this property to anyone who asks.

Overall nice ..cleaned where you could see, but dirty in places like when you shut the bathroom door there were dead spiders and a dead fly, behind the garbage can lots of debris. The dryer was full of damp towels. I don't really like folding laundry on vacation, especially when it is not mine.

Absolutely beautiful!

My girlfriends and I go on a girls trip for my bday each year and we all agreed this will definitely be one of the places we make sure to come back to! Sitting on the porch drinking coffee in the morning and relaxing by the fire pit and in the hot tub were definitely our favorite things. The house is just beautiful and had everything we needed. The only thing we didn’t expect was the wood burning fireplace. Being from the city, I had expected gas so we had to get extra supplies. It wasn’t a big deal but I’d mention it in the description just so people are prepared. We can’t wait to come back!

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE

This is the LAST TIME I EVER use Hill Country. Absolutely terrible experience. We booked this house nearly a week before our date of arrival so there was PLENTY of time to have someone come to dust, sweep, and vacuum. Aside from a serious pest infestation (we found mice, ants and over 15 scorpions dead and alive), the stove knob broke off with the burner on. Then there was a grease fire in the grille due to the grease tray and grille not being maintained and cleaned properly. On top of that, when we went to get a fire extinguisher, we found that it wasn’t up to code. The last time it was checked was 2015. Then we called the emergency line for help and no one answered and have yet to call back. This trip has been an absolute disaster and it is entirely due to the state of your property. Hill Country sent an email to our initial contact on Friday and gave a completely dismissive response to the infestation. This was completely inappropriate. I attached photos to show them the issues we found when we first arrived. (A couple Dead scorpions and mouse poop, uncleaned and stinky quarters) and was given a cavalier, dismissive response. After reaching out again, we still got no response. AVOID AVOID AVOID HILL COUNTRY PREMIER LODGING
