"So I’m giving this a low rating because I paid a lot for the room and it was filthy when we arrived. Clearly had not been cleaned properly. We also woke up with bites all over us. No bed bugs I checked the bed. I took photos of the dirty room. There was even someone’s shaving hair in the bathroom drawer"

"The property seemed to be clean. If I could recommend a few items in the house. Vacuum/ broom, a garbage can in the bathroom curtains/ or upgraded shades. The family enjoyed the stay but definitely felt a bit uncomfortable, my boys are on the taller side and this unit was a bit tight for them. Our stay was short so give the price and the amenities it was fine. Thank you for have our family. "

"Hotel was new and well maintained. It is quiet and far from the busier part of the beach area. Not alot to do and no life guards on beach. Loungers are not provided and there is no vendor on the beach to purchase. Also I had 30% tip added to my restaurant bill and was told thats is if you make any purchases??? Overall nice property"

"Stayed at the Pelican in their King Ocean view room (304). The view was absolutely spectacular and our patio facing the pool was super cute! First night we ordered room service from ocean 2000(restaurant on site) and it arrived quickly and still piping hot! My husband and I had a great time here and will definitely be coming back!"

"The room was clean and check in process was smooth. The management/staff was responsive to concerns. The A/C did not work properly but the fan made the room more comfortable. The kitchen was very clean and well equipped. Ample parking is available for all units."

"Hotel is excellent for sleeping purposes. Amenities are poor: fitness center barely has machines and space ir really narrow. Pool is okay. Staff was nice. The hotel seems to have been recently renovated. Things to consider: - $150 are charged as a deposit when arrived, and money is returned in 7-business days. - $10 fee for parking (per day)."

"The property is clean and smells nice. The beach is beautiful. However, there is not enough information about activities on the property or tours provided by the hotel or outside vendors. Some of the staff are not very friendly. There were no complimentary bottles of water provided, not even on the first day, and no information was given about a refill station."

"Probably driven by a new philosophy of management, but there were no amenities except upon request. Needs, such as towels was based upon exchange only. in other words, I could not get new towels unless I turned in the old ones. Everything required a security deposit. And we had noisy neighbors, and the room next to us, that fought every night. Very unlikely we would ever use this hotel again."

"We did not enjoy our stay here. There was a dirty towel in the bathroom with makeup all over it and it was wet. The mattresses were stained and dirty. We were told we would have free wifi but we could not find the code anywhere and when we emailed there was no reply. Very disappointing given the cost."
